That can't be... Not with all these tubes still sprouting from you body.

Abruptly: FULL, WAKING, COGNITION

Or to put it another way... what kind of content and story elements would you folk like to see in a Subnautica 2.0, and how could they be linked into the existing material?

Thanks. I especially like your idea of setting up a temperature-damage mechanic for each suit type. -

Apologies friend. By rights I shouldn't be trying to read posts wearing a mask and snorkel really. I draw the line at removing the fins though! -
I'm with Sam on that

Err... don't rush back there too soon.

Tarkannen I suspect I we agree.
It's not all fast travel I object to - just making it too easy. The right balance depends on the nature of each game world and the various mechanics used inside it. Currently I'd say the Devs are o… -
Hi Scifiwriterguy. Thanks heaps for that praise, very encouraging.
Here's some reply to a couple of your questions:

I'd agree it would be nice to occasionally access more little treasures of alien tech. But I'd not hope to see full-on Precursor base-building, I think that would undermine player feelings of smallness and awe.
Alien tech I'd like see… -
Thanks Zedd. Yeah, those kinds of details would really need to be play-tested.
Thanks also OxGa. Your multi-tool arm seems like a really good workaround for a lot of contingencies. BTW did your first line have a link to click on? - It d… -
I get what Obraxis is saying, graphically they've now set the bar very high. But to me the core game area is so good I'd be very happy to explore some lesser environment that extends ever outwards around it. Obviously not a featureless plain, but pe…

Yeah I felt the same way when a crashfish blew my Seamoth to bits around me! A tip in case you don't know it already - you can stop them from re-spawning by using the hardened dive knife on their crash fish plant.

Yeah, roving packs of near-surface predators (e.g. quasi-sharks, barracudas ....) would make for a bit more respect for this zone - at least above certain biomes. I'd like something fast and not too easily outrun by the Seamoth. Rather, you'd have…
