The Good: Overall gameplay and awesome creature design
The Bad: Lag spikes and 4 FPS - almost unplayable when that happens. Stacking of Wrecks - burn O2 and an entire battery to cut open 3 sealed doors
I called my Cyclops IANTO from Bugzapper's AURORA FALLS fanfic. Hope he doesn't mind...My favorite fish to catch is the Reginald; you'll find them in Sparse Reef and Grassy Plateaus. They have the most overpowered food value of any fish; you'll never clean them out fast enough if you farm them, especially in a two…Cool, but if it's effectively a quadruple-sized Cyclops then it's gonna be unwieldy in enclosed areas and the shallows. I got stuck in the Deep Grand Reef once; had trouble maneuvering my Cyclops past all the rock and floating stones.
(Quote) …Holy crap. And this is in the Castles and Coffee? update? The current experimental build is broken. I'm getting the same issue.
So yeah, for now it's probably best to opt out of experimental mode until they fix this, and now's the best time with the Dangerous Creatures update released only rece…The Giant Peeper would scare me s---less. Cute Baby Leviathans on the other hand? (*squee*)
A Lesser Sea Dragon would be awesome... just like Dagon's design: in Rare Secret Creatures in caves (encouraging exploration) Comment by Phoenix223 September 2016(Quote)
SCREW THE WARPERS!
No, not really... Of course, the Warpers are here to stay. But I really like the first and fifth merfolk pictures. I want to see them in the game too! T_TLooks like a cross between Gamora and a Bone Shark. I LOVE IT!(Quote)
Dragon... enough said!I love the Wanderer and Patient Zero. Magma Guardian has a FINAL BOSS feel to it.
The Blackout - A red-eyed black Ampeel that instantly drains all power from your sub/exosuit on contact. You may want to bring along some extra Power…(Quote)
I love the idea of an alien AI becoming your friend. But if it acts as your guide throughout, then it would have to be early-game; finding the precursor bases is mid-to-late...... Unless the AI helps you analyze the Carar, r…(Quote) Heaven forbid! Why else do they call it HARDCORE!?Now Subnautica becomes a horror game: The Swimming Dead.
I'd probably lose my s--- playing this game.............. in more ways than one.(Quote)
You know... With the Carar-virus storyline being fleshed out, they could put a world border around the map and call it a "Quarantine Field". Beyond that, they could install some false terrain, kinda like fake chunks i…The Single Cell Landscape would be TERRIFYING! Too bad that's not an option...(Quote)
Well, that was blunt. The problem is there's nothing to explore beyond the Void. Go out too far and it'll take an eternity getting back. There needs to be something to cancel this pointless trek... unless they intend to expand the …That would certainly make the Ampeel more of a threat. Better bring along some extra power cells (thank goodness for the power chargers)
Whoa... I just had a thought. What if we capitalize on that?
in Ampeel Idea Comment by Phoenix223 September 2016I get it. Even I have trouble finding the seamoth in the open. A light cone and some bloom lighting from its active spotlights would be a godsend.
(Quote) They ACTUALLY used to. Remember the all-bright Seamoths?(Quote)
I think that creature's been taken, Odysseus.
But there's only one thing I can think of that's perfect for the Void.
in Plans for the Void? Comment by Phoenix223 September 2016The mesmer just got a lot more menacing.(Quote)
ADORABLE! Forget the Cute Fish; I want THAT one! (Quote)
I would've been fine with Alien Habitat instead of "containment" (yuck), but I never would've thought of Vivarium. Nice one!(Quote) Man Alive, YES! Both are a far cry better (not to mention more imaginative) than "Alien Containment".(Quote)
Why not!? If you're gonna have dangerous creatures in a Alien Containment Large Aquarium, you might as well get the whole set for variety's sake.(Quote) Personally, I hate the idea of killing dragons, besides being born on the year of.
Not enough room in the sea for an Aircraft Carrier, let alone the Draconis we see in Sub_Naughty's avatar. You can barely get the Cyclops over the Safe Shallows as it is; what the heck are you gonna do with the unit-equivalent of four of those thing…Perhaps "stacking" is too much to ask for, but what about silos? I've suggested this before in Lyeaux's thread, but if there was a silo module<…(Quote)
That's a crabsnake, nestled inside a Jelly Snake Mushroom. Swim near one that's occupied by this thing and it lunges out and grabs you! Scary buggers...What are the devs thinking? Not to say that I'm not glad the Gasopods finally have some use to them, but "Gas Torpedoes"? I thought the point was to avoid using lethal force.
