I'd actually rather see the exo turned into more of a "battlemech" role. A super armed and armored beast. This would leave room to add in a heavy marine role that can come in between marines and exos.

Lets be honest here, if it wasn't for marine "jump spam" completely breaking immersion and looking retarded, there would be no problem with it, and it would be seen as a good game mechanic by all.

Why not just increase damage by 33%, effectively reducing the number of attacks needed by just 1 attack (3 bite/swipes at armor 3), then increase attack rate accordingly? -
Yea, just get rid of armor repair off both the armory and AA.
But to compensate, the pain-in-the-ass welder will definitely need a range increase.
