It passed testing because this is how skills were originally meant to sound. It was a sound bug that made the skulks quiet. Its just been so long that people forgot or grew accustomed to skulk sounds cutting out.

You have to learn to time it right. Holding down A/D while spamming the space bar will actually slow you down. Learning the proper timing between strafing and jumping is the key.

But see this is my point. People can stack a team without pubstomping. It makes the game more interesting and enjoyable for "pubstompers" by doing silly stuff like that and it gives the other team a fighting chance to win.
