The Shadow Tier does not have the Decal shown in the Gold/Diamond Tiers
The devs may add the option for shadow badge owner to switch Decals (but thats a big maybe) -

Last I checked, there was a "No rookie" or "No green" player mod, that automatically kicked people who are still green/new
