It's there but it's in a locked room so you can't get to it yet.

The thing is that most of the settings suggested above are either already things that are in the game in some form (eg. components of the existing survival/freedom/creative modes) or are simple "disable that thing" options. So the only hard part is…

(Quote) Disagree. In fact the best place for them is just barely below the depth. Park your moth above crush depth and dive the rest of the way. Get back a sense of survival adventure and "did I pack enough O2 tanks" panic.

You have to go to the front of the ship up the ramps now.

Don't swim away from sandsharks. Swim towards them, then slip to the side. Once you get used to these sorts of movements it becomes easy to avoid them. Eventually they leave you alone.

Sounds like the story reason to have a transfuser.

Yeah, but there's only a few of them, so being able to customise them would be nice. It was just an idea though, I don't feel particularly strongly about that part.

(Quote) So you've never played Minecraft? Even to date, there's absolutely no in-game guidance (if you don't use mods) on crafting recipes, where to find resources, or what you should be doing with your time there.
Subnautica already… -
Gender selection would be good, and possibly a colour scheme for your diving suit (since you can see your face mask, and get glimpses of your arms and fins as you swim around) in a similar fashion to the vehicle customisation.
No need to… -
(Quote) Knives are weird.
The base knife disappears when its durability hits zero. But if you save and reload, sometimes (but not always) it mysteriously reappears (still with zero durability).
The upgraded knives tend to… -
(Quote) It's not in the game yet, but it will be pretty much exactly like that. Have a look at the new art for them

I just swam around a group of three sandsharks near some wreckage (not one of the big wrecks though) to see if things had changed. Nope. Circle strafe FTW, not bitten even once.
So don't swim straight away from them, just juke to the s…Well, you're inconveniencing them by not building that phasegate they wanted, so probably the latter. On the other hand, you were expected to be in transit for several more months, so they might not have noticed yet.(Quote) Yes you can. In fact you can do it just with fins. And you don't even need to outrun stalkers; just sidestep them. Or better yet, give them metal or fish.(Quote) I think the theory is that you're still their employee despite being stranded, so anything you do or make belongs to them, no matter where you are.
Remember this is set in a future where the corporation IS the government. It's possibly not in game yet. I've found five code-locked doors and only two codes thus far.I'm just waiting for the confused posts tomorrow from the people who thought that the "Prawn Update" was about getting a new food fish.(Quote) ^ Although I think it's 10 per aquarium construction, so if you have a double-height one then the limit is 20.
The easiest way to limit population of a certain kind of fish is to put in singles of other fish until you have the…NMS is at the intersection of two different "desperation genres", those where people's imaginations of the games they want exceeds the ability of developers to actually create them. (Those genres are survival and space sim.) It's completely unsurp…When will then be now? Soon. There's another thread somewhere which claims that the seamoth's storage module does terrible things to FPS. So if you have one of those, perhaps try removing it?In late game, sure. Less so when you haven't even got a seamoth yet.(Quote) It's not really true, unless you're the type to never go far from your base. Fruit couldn't be used as a travel food because it degraded too quickly (within a few seconds), but it was a perfect source of both food and water when standing…(Quote) AFAIK it hasn't been fixed in experimental yet, so probably not.You get the warning if the map data changes. This will happen much more often in experimental than in stable. If the game has newer map data than your save, then you can still play it but it will use the map from your save, not the game -- which m…(Quote) Woo!(Quote) Heh, I know that feel. (I'm not a game dev, but I do write software.)It's likely that whatever is currently in Experimental will be in the update. It's unlikely (though not impossible) for additional content beyond this -- the devs are likely in full bug-fixing mode since the update date is getting close.(Quote) While I agree in principle, part of the magic of building a Cyclops for the first time is in actually being there when it finally completes and splashes down into the ocean. Having the timer made longer so that the player is likely to be…
