It is in the game for a reason, use them to your hearts content. As EverReddy said above, it is recommended due to all the possible bugs/glitches that halt your progress. It is up to you to decide whether or not it is "right" to use them :P
-
Nope, it would slow down progress on the actual updates due to them having to get Microsoft to check all the experimental updates.
-
For all you know they have already added it in the next update coming.

As long as the ending of the game is not a " you wake up and it was all a dream " scenario, I am sure we will all be kind

Oh is that so? I was under the impression that pc users in the past have had to start new worlds to get some of the updated content, was I misinformed? Then again I suppose that is not the same as "wiping" so if that is the case I … -
I agree with you on that, but while the xbox version is still relatively new, I expect a lot of people to start threads asking things like that anyway.

If the update requires saves being wiped to add more content, then yeah, you will start all over again from the Aurora crash. -
I can't say for sure due to me just being a player. However my guess is that anything that required a new save when updating the PC game, will also require a knew save for us too. So I believe so yes it will wipe.

It is confirmed, try the way I learnt, hold down LB, RB, A, B, Y and X lol. -
Firstly, you can get all of those things back if you are willing to use the console commands, holding down LB, RB, A together, ( or button mash LB, RB, A, B, X, Y. ) You can find all the commands on the Subnautica wiki. in Xbox 1 Game froze arrrrrggghhh Comment by Mini_Gaara May 2016

If you are talking about the pick up item " signal " for coordinates, I can confirm about 5 seconds ago i obtained it from a crate. In the crate it looked like a white X, so I am not sure if it fully implemented but it has an icon when equipped.

type in entgal or entgallery. it then teleports you to an area with sort of pedestals with creatures stuck in place above them. -
I can't say for sure, but I assume anything that required a new world on the pc will probably require a new world on Xbox as well.

I kinda wish we had terraforming, it would be helpful due to the whole bug of land regenerating in your structures at a reload.

I searched for a good hour all around the Aurora, I am fairly certain they are no where to be seen, woo xD -

Must of just heard a noise and assumed it was one then. Good to know there is no immediate threat while I get used to the game then lol. Thanks

It does let you build into the land, however, when reloading the save the land glitches back into your structures. I had to remove an entire section of my base/aquarium and relocate due to this.
