Whew....well, after I did two weekends worth of crunching, the CDT is making NS2 builds again as @Nordic posted.
We've still got some fiddly bits to sort out wi… -
Look at that Tower of Awesomeness....it's amazing to behold.

Just a wee little update. I've got just about everything sorted out with the CDT's new (from scratch!) Build System. Full NS2 builds are being created on the new setup, but I've still got some bugs to work out before I can push to Steam. Getting pre…

My modding time has been devoted to rebuilding the CDT's infrastructure from scratch. I've got plans for several things I hope to complete once this work is done.

Yeah, but you still killed me with your damn Mines just fine... *shakefist*

As @BeigeAlert said, time is what the CDT needs the most. Pretty much the entire CDT has full-time commitments we cannot just shrug off on a whim. This is in fact my bi…

Yes, it's highly secretive. I could lose my life for making this post. I've been working out of NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory for several months now. Working with a team of 42 scientists. I'll say this, it's been very difficult figuring out how t…

You will play it again. I've been swamped with rebuilding the infrastructure for the CDT (from scratch), so I haven't been able to do any work with MvM sadly.
I have not abandoned it. It shall rise again...I just don't know when.… -
For anyone who was interested/curious, here is what the CDT's new Build-System is composed of:Granted, that's an over simplified diagram, it still shows the g…

@roxxkatt Nope, not with the current system

Where is the Space-Cow option in the poll?

Ordered 2. Now to see if I can make one of them into an Remote Controled Gorge

(Quote) In a manner of speaking, yes. We've been working on optimizing a lot of the physics updates for clients (reducing when/how often things update), and some network utilization optimizations as well. There is more in the pipeline too. Many t…

Honestly, I see this as a bug with RL. I'll look into this, but no guarantees on a fix.

As other people have stated, XP is extremely out-of-date. However, if I can track down the problem, and address it without impacting other Windows versions, we'll get a fix in.
I won't make any promises / guarantees however. -
My personal List (granted I'm unsure how'd they'd mesh with the game)
- Nav-Buoy - A buildable and deployable "structure" that could either be tethered to the sea-floor or float on the surface. Allowing player's to set the name of …

o_O Where do you live Decoy? In a volcano?

You need to be in-game (joined a server) for the customization menu to be available. This is due to some technical limitatons we currently have in the system. However, we have plans to address this in the future.

While the shadow maps related resources are within Spark's renderer (obviously), the data is not tied to r_stats. And unless I'm mistaken, it never has been.
Whenever I can find the time, I plan on revisiting shadows and adding their associate… -
The biggest difference between the two is edge analysis and rotation. FXAA is excellent at handling static geometry, not too mention it's speed. Where as SMAA is hugely better at handling arbitrary angles that change frequently (games). The drawback…

SMAA is on my todo list

What IronHorse said and ... there are a ton of contributing factors that influence the fluctuation you've recorded. Long story short, it's complicated and quite tricky to do right. It's on our radar though.

In principle, I agree with the gist of this thread. However, I think the task to pull it off in a manner that is both engaging/entertaining, and educational...is a royal bitch. It requires a lot of work...a whole lot of work. And I'm not just…

(Quote) Sweet! So how long until NS2+ gives the perception that the vanilla game is bugged again?
