(Quote) I can feel the difference.
I'd rather constant and solid 30 fps than 60 fps that oscillates to 40 regularly.
And I prefer higher fps than detailed textures and effects. -
We are humans.
We are the apex predators wherever we go. -
Well,
The gt 1030 is a small card with performance comparable to the gtx 550 ti. Depending on the application, the 550 should even perform better.
If you're tech savvy and want a simple test, just remove your GPU. Your CPU has a decent o… -

Not everything benefits from following trends.
DLC is a huge trend because it is easy to push "new" content for a "small" price, incurring in huge revenues for the gaming companies and negligible content for the players.
@Ghozgul
I bet the feeling is reciprocal.
You asked a simple question, on the topic title: "Any base update ?" and in the topic body you expanded it with "I wa…It would be awesome, but I find it unlikely since they are spreading to several platforms.(Quote) Of course it can. It just isn't practical, and we assume that a profit oriented corporation would try to optimize as much as possible.(Quote)
But was it fun? That less you acquired?
Following the food topic, I am eating less and I assure you it is no fun at all.I think much of the confusion derives from the current "DLC" notion. It was announced as an expansion and nowadays most players expect expansions to display the same role as the smaller DLCs, only adding some content to the original game without mod…(Quote)
Ok, but where's the fun in that?@FoshyTakashi
Agree with almost everything, except these: (Quote) The feelings of desolation and solitude derives in great part from the knowledge that you're…(Quote) I don't think it keeps them warm. Would also love to see jellies in the game though.
I don't mind. In fact, I prefer it this way.
Being disconnected from the original game means it must have everything on its own, map, biomes, etc...
I'm old school and, in my experience, DLC's that mingle with the main game usually add v…(Quote)
It is very hard to simulate or emulate ecosystems. Given that, teaching through games is an idea that has been proven successful time and time again. You created the same discussion twice, so that's a start with being wrong.(Quote)
This game has a history of cute creatures. Until they open their jaws at least.I don't think it is useless, more like unnecessary.
It has a role as mobile base, something that allows you to rest, eat/drink and store whatever, wherever.
The major drawback against this role is the dimensions of the map and the range …They do not usually respond, unless it's something critical.
Most information discussed on the forums come from other users discussing trello cards, tweets or comments from discord.
So, mostly, I'm second handedly informed.
W…There's another reason why they abandoned such mechanics. Waiting for intermediary rooms to lock up, then flood (or dry up) is fun at first, but it is considered to slow down the game with repetitive animations down the line.
Personally, I wou…(Quote)
That's the best part, it doesn't need an answer. It is whatever you imagine it to be, and the mental exercise trying to understand it is very enriching.@jamintheinfinite_1
I'll give you three other options besides developing ftl.

Maybe they were meant to be used nearby Stations or Capital Ships, and those would be tasked with creating a protecting field.(Quote)
Game lore states that they use phase gates. Building one is precisely the original Aurora mission.I don't know.
As it isn't detailed in game lore it's up to your imagination.
Probably with some kind of shuttle.
Bear in mind that everything we build in the game starts with an emergency fabricator. Just imagine what c…(Quote) I never said they should land on the planet.
@Aurora_Survivor asked:If the QEP didn’t shoot it down then how were those…Apparently the Seamoths and PRAWNs can also be used in space.(Quote) I wasn't aware that was a thing. But it should work as I suggested, fishing the rocket mid flight.
I don't think so.
According to wikipedia it is theorized to be salt, but until there's a dedicated mission to explore this moon we probably won't know for sure. There will be a couple of flybys over it soon though.Just check the channel on youtube, it's the most recent video.
