Try using other items to reach the Aurora... seaglide.... seamoth... cyclops.. etc, all can avoid a Reaper

Known issue. I believe it has to do with the amount of saved games in the folder. I had the information back when I had over 20 save folders, when I deleted them and had bug again, aka the information wasn't being displayed

1. The respawning back in the ladder-room on the power generator was fixed with 'Alterra science update'. I was hoping this got fixed before the Aurora crash ship update, but sadly it was discovered last minute and everyone was out of the office.(Quote)
Yes, but some things will not be updated. It will tell you when the warning screen popups when you load an old save.
