So what do we do with all the resources we get from drilling nodes and wrecks?
-
Well... on the bright side you can use all those dead batteries to make live power cells...
-
Well... it is an alien planet. You can't expect the lifeforms to behave like the ones on Earth.

I start a LOT of new savegames and have noticed how fast my seaglide batteries drain. I just adjust my usage as a result. So now I only use the Seaglide if I ABSOLUTELY have to. Such as when I need to surface or I have a predator chasing me.

Next thing we know, someone's gonna make some webcomic about the cutified Reaper Leviathan hero and his Cutefish partner vs the imperious armies of the Evil Emporer Peeper...

Hmm.... waterproof lockers... inside the pod... I prefer to have them outside, y'know? And if you spawn in a place full of hostile creatures you can just restart the game. Because whenever there's an update 'til V1, your save may end up being inv…

I think the Precursors are doing what they do to keep the deadly bacteria infesting the planet you're on from escaping as well as mitigating the damage it has caused. I'm guessing that the planet used to be in habited, but then that bacteria showed…

Wow. I tend to find them in the elevator...

@whoever drew those things: Thank you! Now my Subnautica nightmares are going to be EVEN WORSE!!! -

I've had that too... except I'd come home to a day off and see the rising sun to a work day (happens very rarely nowadays but happened quite a bit when I was younger)... -

Think of it as "flipping the bird" at them for putting you in super-debt.

O... kay... I thought this was about the words found IN Subnaughtyca...

Yes. But then Alterra (or its rivals) will still be able to reverse engineer the the thing. And given the nature of gigacorporations it's not a good idea to let them do that... -
(Quote)I think I can still use pipes. Just have to set them up. Even having the Seamoth sometimes doesn't save me from drowning so my dive time inside is limited (I save 60 out of the 135 seconds I have just to swim back to my oxygen source). Setting up…(Quote)
If you build something close to them then they disappear. Hence why I have them situated right at the edge of the foundation.
I still want that bottle that shows up in the Water Filtration Machine.

Yeah... that creeped me out when it showed up while I gathered quartz and salt in the Sparse Reef...I think if you just get the technology to leave the planet and then just leave you could trigger the "bad ending"...Either you get blown up by the cannon on the island as you attempt to leave, or if you do escape you infec…(Quote)
Pretty much this. I hardly get bored of Subnautica to the point where I get burnt out. I just get weird dreams like that when I enjoy a game way too much... like with Minecraft and Star Trek Online (thought that's more about the…Don't know what the exact words are, but there was a biome description for the Sparse Reef stating that the reason for the low variety of life in the region was unknown...I like the challenge of having to catch my own food and looking for materials to make drinking water. Oh... and one tip on catching Peepers. Think of it as an arcade space fighter sim. Just lead your target and you will catch him. Or make a grav…For those of you who are curious, here's the start of a new base on a new save file. No office or garden sections yet, but if you've seen my previous screenshot then you have an idea what it's gonna look like (and where the solar panels are).
…I'm kinda dissapointed we can't make creepvine salad...And thanks to that virus that's in the air plus the Precursor made creatures that kill any living thing that's infected enough, I highly doubt there are any survivors from any other ships that have crashed on that planet...Just so you know, the one in the locker within the jellyshroom caves can be retrieved. You just need the propulsion cannon to pull it to you. There was one PDA I found in a wreck near a thermal vent in the Safe Shallows. I used to be able to pick…(Quote)
If you look on the far side of the base you'll see them (since it's night time they're very hard to see, but they are there). I angle them at the very edge of the foundation to save space for when I need more.I guess I could show off the base I usually build now. I used to go large (with over 10 bioreactors and three tall aquariums), but I found it time consuming to walk around the thing. Now I just use solar panels to power the thing (four or five). …I tend to think of the thing as a "mobile vehicle platform"...
