Appreciated by some, tolerated by others. I personally find that the controls always feel a bit more sluggish to me on the land (ironic since humans in the real world are far faster and more agile on land than we are in the water),… -
I had not known that, Endar. I stand enlightened.
Though I still wonder if Lithium can be found in like a raw form, underwater, without reacting. Ionized lithium is soluble, IIRC. -
The PDA DOES mention that the walls of the Precursor labs are made of an unknown material. Maybe it could be studied, and you can use a rare mix of materials to make "Alien Components" for your base, which have the neat spiral patterns and have an a…

But I LIKE it being an ocean world!
Oh! Another idea for why there's living examples of the Lost River Giant Skeleton Thing!

MY thing about Lithium is that pure lithium explodes in water. Like not as aggressively as say, sodium, but still it's not something you want getting wet.

Part of the victory condition in the game is to dive down and release the young Sea Emperors, which produce the cure to the Carar, so that they can distribute it in the sea and get rid of the disease

I have a personal rule with Time Travel. It's something that honestly should be planned on from the beginning, because if you add it to a series at a later date then things get messy.
But a chance to see bigger creatures is nice. The dev… -

Alright, here's some 'gameplay extension' alternatives to your idea of another planet:- Make this planet larger. Extend the borders, put in more biomes, maybe use those potential warpgates to go to that Arctic Bi…

Yeah, normally I plonk a floating beacon like underneath the base and rename it "Home", so I can always get back. But a built-in beacon would be great.

Dude, nobody's attacked you.
THIS is an attack: "This idea is stupid and you are stupid for thinking of it"
This is NOT an attack: "I don't think that this idea fits with the theme of the game"

These are great ideas, but might be unfeasible to try to implement in the game as it is. I'd LOVE to see some kind of specialization thing come up if they make a sequel, though. That'd be awesome.
Edit: Also, welcome to the forum! -
I think the idea's been floated a couple of times in the Ideas and Suggestions subforum, which is probably where this post belongs.
That said, yeah, it's a good idea. You can toss like, fish or fruit in and it'll give you a long-lasting … -

Huh, I couldn't put a window on the ROOF of the corridor, but I could put it on the end-cap, which was kinda neat. -

Oh gosh and golly gee how dare a game that says right on the front page that it is in development have something that's in-progress? How were we, the players, supposed to know that a game that discloses itself as being in Early Acc… -

I think 99% of the players would say that Coop WOULD be a fun idea.
It'd also be great if we lived in Star Trek's post-need economy so that we don't have to work for money and can devote time to our interests, but I'm n… -

Is "Well jeeze, bro, I like the game the way it's heading" really that odd a concept to wrap your head around? Like, some people might have different ideas and desires for the game, and maybe some people aren't looking for the same… -

Alright, let's just break it down...
What, narratively, does this add to the game?
Nothing. It adds nothing but time and filler. It's basically "That ending you earned? Just kidding. Jump through hoops and d… -

Okay see let me let you in on a secret... If you HAD read about the multiplayer thing, you probably noted that stickied thread at the top of this forum page, yes? The one that says "Coop/Multiplayer in Subnautica? I'm afraid not". … -
Well since they added the battery charger, I may have to rethink the fins I use. I made my preference for the Swim Charge fins when there WAS no battery charger. Now I can just pack spares, swap them out, and charge them at my base.

Well the thing with harvesting Creepvine Samples is that it kinda takes more than one whack to destroy the creepvine. Is there a notification in the HUD about your inventory being full? Then you should be able to stop before you de… -
@ResolutionBlaze - I was disagreeing with many of your posts, but I only now got around to posting. If you wanted to know why I did it?

I haven't personally run into anything getting destroyed because I had no inventory space. When harvesting the Creepvine Pods, for instance, when I ran out of room in my inventory it simply wouldn't let me pick more. I don't know if this is the same…
