How can it be smoother than "Press E, get out of the 'moth"? Then swim, and if you have a Seaglide you can pull it out pretty quickly. -
Yeah, like Smoo noted... These wouldn't really add a lot. Like, what would the prototype subs do that the Cyclops doesn't? What would adding this Seamoth Escape thing do that just getting out of your Seamoth and swimming like hell doesn't already do?

That's actually a pretty awesome idea. Dunno if they'd implement it, but it'd also be a great way to build your base from inside and not have to worry about air.

But the fact that Subnautica is a well-crafted awesome ocean is its biggest charm. That's why I kind of don't want any potential sequels to involve non-ocean worlds. The ocean of the planet is cool. Let's do more with it. -
