I prefer higher amounts that are multiples of 10, particularly for early game. For example 20 Titanium is preferable to 18. The reason is inventory space. The way I play is to collect enough components to build a base, say a multi-P room, a hatch,…

I restarted and noticed differences from my PRAWN update save (which was a fresh game after the PRAWN update). New models for some fragments for example. I also found in an old save several crab squids had bugged out. They were frozen in place an…

I am going to say one short thing and one medium thing. Firstly I kind of think it is a step too far. That said; we are a life form on the planet. We do not fit in either. We cannot even breathe underwater. We did not evolve there, yet we are the…

You missed it because it is a little buggy.
You went to the island. Right place to get this scan done. You can scan the rusty Multipurpose room by the fruit trees and planter that has the desk, a crab, and the wall panel with leaves on … -
Your profile pic (as of time stamp this post) kind of contains spoilers. And I just made it worse for anyone who reads this comment, but still. many try to avoid update or 1.0 spoilers.

I get the impression that the current stable resource situation is a quick-fix for the depleting fish issue where biomes would become lifeless. Is has the smell of setting all classes to return from their inactive state. Remember the post about s…

I like that they are hostile, even if it cost me a long play time save. It gives us a chance to release and replace into the same environment had we taken one from it. Restoring the natural order. Restoring the Biome.

I have the same issue. New game file; Twice now. When I warp I end up under the map with sand the closest texture and biome look.

I found that even never visiting them, Knowing I could, made the world less of a threat. Less alien. That is the point of the OP.
It's like travelling on a train without buying a ticket as you should. You sit there lo… -
I liked the suggestion of them sinking periodically. Your base may be on land one day in the reef the next.

not a suggestion on a whim. Islands are progressing in development and having played with them I though I would pass on my feelings about them.
Some agree with me. Some do not. I paid for this game because of the uniq… -

And it at the introduction stage that it is fair and constructive to share opinion. Reading through my original thread you can see some agree with me. Some do not; and I find that the reasons presented by both sides are valid. I … -

You appear to be a poorly expressive troll, but I shall use your lack of meaningful contribution to make a point to those suffering from the same disadvantages as you. Alpha is a stage of software development where the addition an… -

I think this seems a good balance. From the responses so far there seems good support for land but with a few cavetes attached. Having land visible from the pod lessens the feeling of remoteness, of the "oh crap! we are in trouble… -

I addressed that in the OP. The world itself seems far more alien and hostile with no land. Imagine being lost at sea. just you and you scuba gear; but you know there is an island within reach. Now imagine floating in deep water…
