In what world has anyone stopped complaining about HP bars? I know I still contribute.
Bump away.

@NotPaLaGi
Absolutely! I'm all for weighing out alternatives, like I said, I only ever wanted to get a bead on public perception of exos as a potential … -
(Quote) OK so by that logic, bringing the 4 minute onos back is a fine design decision because Marines would still win 2 out of 10 games. So you couldn't reliably say that an 80% loss rate over thousands of games could be predictable...
(Quote) "Had" ?.. I still see that all the time in pub games, bub.
Just like I see players not spending any pres all round because they're saving up for that purchase that they'll lose in their first engagement anyways.

Well I definitely don't mean to insult.. I just planned on starting a new thread for that, and just wanted approval from the devs before shari…(Quote) What you are describing is NS2 without RTS elements.
While I agree that I'd probably enjoy NS2 more without an economy (or at least a more forgiving one), I cannot deny that it is what makes the game unique, and that many othe…(Quote)
Not only did you contradict yourself there, but I believe you answered your own question too..
As for the purpose of the poll, I've answered that multiple times, including in my prior comment.@Archie
Regarding the spoiler tagged "network command" explanations :
I don't know if those were your own words or if you just forwarded that from someone…@meatmachine (Quote) I agree.

This.. so much this.
It's just for practice. Getting the feel for your lifeform's TTK -or anything else related to it- is worthwhile regardless of whether you want to do it with a lerk or an Onos.
And forbidding t…(Quote) Viable =/= Underpowered.
I've never attested that they were underpowered. It's a role / accessibility issue.
And self welding just compounds the issue of exploitation; good players are made better with it.

I'm more interested in getting a pulse on perception from the community before suggesting things publicly, as it can highlight unconsidered aspects.
But if I were to throw something in the wild suggestion box without mu…Enlarged hitboxes were implemented to make things more accessible and to alleviate some of the hitreg oddities (this is good)
But only the skulk received eHP adjustments to prevent imbalances (this is bad)

This is why I attempted to keep the poll simple, and tried my best to explain what it was asking for by providing multiple examples of what I wasn't asking, in the OP.
Yes, like almost any mechanic in this game its eff…That's an awesome example of what they do in a great players' hands.
But how well does the average pubber use them? Does every player use them effectively like you just did? Can you do the same with miniguns? Can others?

This might simply come down to tech timings, and when marines feel comfortable pushing / ending the round.
Onos often come out sooner than a lot of T3 marine tech, so it could be that marines are in a holding pattern waiting …@Rammler

My reaction typically goes from "That was BS!" to "oh okay, yea I messed up there" when watching killcams in other games.(Quote) Respectfully, I don't think you understand.
Playtesters aren't exactly falling out of the sky. We are lucky to have 12 players be able to test fixes and bug hunt for an hour and a half, then play 2 rounds to see if there's any…(Quote) While I agree that it probably wont make the difference... this part above is suspect. What display settings?
Ok so supposedly nvd3dum.dll is what is crashing..
So just something to try right now:
Completely uninstall all display and graphics drivers.
Restart your PC.
Reinstall the latest nvidia graphics driver.
See…All steam account related issued and DLCs need to be handled by Steam/Valve itself, as we have no control over that.
I recommend opening a support ticket through steam.Ensure you are using fullscreen DX9 only, and be sure to set your primary monitor before doing so. (so the game can be centered on the monitor you want)
