(Quote) You had control of the entire match and put them on their back foot after they lost a series of fades. Not expecting a base rush as a possibility was a gross miscalculation. Godar caught you out of position and knew where they could enter…

Perhaps showing a little humility and being humble in defeat would be warranted rather than coming in with a higher than thou attitude declaring those games not exciting to watch. Throwing around terms like randomness and luck to explain away the d…

You lost due to a series of mistakes caused by variables that were completely within your control (TRes count, positioning etc). It was not luck, nor randomness and to say otherwise is disparaging to the effort put up by godar. The game was full o…

It was more the DON'T HOLD FORWARD part of bunnyhopping that was the retarded part in gldsrc. There needs to be some mouse movement else it just devolves into hold forward and jump.

I would have to chime in and say performance. UWE has made leaps and bounds in this area but we still need more to retain an audience. I feel like this is partially unfortunate side effect of the current generation of consoles sticking around so l…

Looks pretty cool, but something about the camera or animations bothers me, I can't quite put my finger on it. It just looks too jittery and jerky essentially. Needs to be smoothed out for sure.

You can't just build anywhere though. Aliens STILL can only build on infestation and marine buildings still require power. Power surge is a temporary and expensive mechanic on a fairly long cooldown. It isn't permanently ignorin… -
Are there any plans to create proper documentation and add additional comments to the LUA to help foster the modding community in the near-ish future?

In a season it was usually for just that match, in a tourney it usually would cost you the whole thing. It has been a while since I have played comp CS though. I just remember playing a match and did a little one-two hop without … -

No, it was and continues to be banned in tournament play since like CS 1.1. Bhopping in any form will disqualify your team right quick.

Best thing to do would be to head over the the mod thread here: http://forums.unknownworlds.com/discussion/128755/sewleks-… -

The best awful movie you'll ever wish you didn't watch but still won't regret. -

Simple way to fix this is to have the initial upgrade choice be free then changing costs pres.

This is true. it is just unfortunate that people who have good criticism can't seem to phrase it constructively and threadshit instead.

We already know about that. If we are going to complain about this post can we complain about things that are actually in the post instead of what isn't.

Yeah, chiming in. I was loving glancing removal change on the BT server tonight. The matches we had felt great and the skulk was rewarding as hell.

Ah, interesting. When I glanced at the code the cylinder size didn't look different to me. Apparently I am an idiot and I live in a world of confirmation bias. -

Yes, skulk, lerk and fade no longer have glancing hits from what I've tried.

The only reason I personally hated the bite cones was the lack of feedback. It was impossible to tell at a glance how much damage I was doing so I couldn't estimate the number of bites I needed for a kill. With the skulk movement changes this isn'…

It felt the same size, I would need to gander through the code to check.
edit: Scanned through the LUA for the bite cones. Looks all the same to me and all he changed was kUseGradualMeleeAttacks to false. -

Just played with it and I believe it is the damage cones. Only the max damage cone remains.

Whole lot of opinions flying around here trying to pass as facts.

I think the problem is more the speed combined with the regen from the crag hive. Changing the regen to extra armor would help, then from there lowering the base health if needed. -

I'd be concerned about lowering the cost due to the strength of 1 hive fades in the BT. I actually think they are far more powerful than in vanilla. -
I'm just going to point out that if you bhop in between tapping blink (and only tapping when you start to lose speed) you will use far less energy and it is closer to vanilla in energy footprint but you can get going just as fast if not faster.
Regarding the alien upgrade change, there should be a cooldown on switching upgrades (visible on the evo menu) to prevent swapping between regen and cara constantly. This was the original reason for removing the ability to change and it will still …
