Let me start off by saying I like the effort you put into this, now then..
Disorientation would be terrible for any game, I mean, just look at the name.
Disorientation being introduced into the game would benefit people who d… -
Natural Selection 2: EvolvedOr Evolve'd if the game goes f2p.

Considering how the forums had to be rolled back, I am reinstating my opinion that Drifter and Structure upgrades should be separated from Hive types to lessen the importance of choosing a Shift Hive for a start. Seeing how the early game use of En…

I'd rather see Motion Tracking return rather than the removal of Silence. Focus needs to stay on Shade hive or else the Shade hive will continue being irrelevant, as well as moving Focus to the crag hive would be a straight nerf to lifeforms such as…

Shhh, I'm trying to promote teamwork.

We had this before with NS1, so here's my guide on how to deal with silence + scent of fear (aura)
Step 1: Don't Rambo
Step 2: Watch your corners and flanks
Step 3: Weld your teammates and ask for medpacks

Silent Hill 2 when I was young, completely alone, surround sound, in a dark room at midnight.
There wasn't really a surprise like scare, but the atmosphere gave me such an overwhelming feeling of dread that kept me from continuing it. -

In all honesty, that's a pretty minor difference. The first 2 of an upgrade rarely make a big enough difference to be noticeable, and they're generally built all at once. On top of that, Silence has been regarded as one of the stro… -

Yeah, but with silence you can wall jump, leap, and do whatever else and remain completely silent. So while Celerity does improve skulk sneaking speed, it is overall much slower with celerity than with silence if you're tryi… -
Personally I think the ability to fire and manually detonate a single grenade could put a lot more skill into the weapon that is simply built for spam, because you would actually have control over it rather than hope something is unlucky enough to b…

I think it would be pretty cool, but I understand them not wanting to make people who missed out on the alpha upset by spending time to give us extra stuff.

@The_Welsh_Wizard The hitbox changes were presumably made to help player tracking to compensate for the speed the game has, so you aren't going to get both.

If you made default movement as fast as sprint speed, then nothing would be gained by removing sprint. Marine movement is too fast in NS2, and the fact that we have to boost alien speeds to just to keep up with marines just adds to the chaotic pace …

I'm not saying shotguns need range nor am I questioning why rifles work. I'm saying marines are inherently designed for ranged dominance, just like how aliens are meant for close ranged dominance, with the only two major difference… -

Keep in mind shotguns are an outlier to marine design like lerk spikes is to alien design. Marines are, by design, supposed to have an advantage over longer distances against an alien. -

Might just be conditioning/nostalgia, but I feel that the ns1 gl is more distinct sounding than the one in ns2. NS2's gl just seems to get lost in the action.
Probably the higher pitch and the grenade rattling.I really wish we had the half life styled weapon roulette selection menu (with quick switch option) for marines.

Voting no just gets rid of the pop-up quicker.Having the 'Respawning' status appear on the scoreboard when teammates are respawning would be a nice little addition that's been missing since ns1.Map is too strong, make it so the map is a physical tablet and the marine has to put his gun away to use it.
I'm in as long as the scoreboard gets an overall aesthetic upgrade, it's been pretty much the same since the alpha with only slight differences being the teams aren't stacked vertically anymore and there are a boatload of little icons scattered abou…(Quote)
Metal Gear Online 3 has locator grenades that function quite comparably to what you suggested.I don't see why you're trying to compare ns2 to warframe, warframe is a pseudo mmo with a time sink for player progression and their income is based off charging for convenience.
I like their customization options though.I hope the current placeholder model remains as an unlock for the lmg/rifle.(Quote)
It's depara, his hatred for anything wooza's or above 24 players has no limits. Simply ignore him or avoid falling for the bait.(Quote)
Plus it's so rare to play a game without shuffle that you aren't likely to see a stacked team anyways.(Quote)
Good in theory but what it mostly did was extend games needlessly by preventing the winning team from finishing the game once the losing team started to quit.If this ever does change I hope it's just an option, in most games I play I always turn off rotating minimaps because I just don't work well with them. I don't need to re-orientate myself to know which direction is which if the map itself stays in t…
