I think I only used the Torpedoes once. I did the vortex one on my Seamoth. They didn't do anything useful. Didn't care to use them after that. Time wasters.

There's still a range limit of good to great. So the yellow indicator still doesn't help. They really need to just put the Thermometer on the characters HUD, and be done with it. I've gotten the yellow indicator even in the ILZ.

The pod sleep system could be a thing you unlock. So you still have to experience night swimming. Make it that you need the habitat builder, disassemble the two seats, reconfig them into a cot/hammock.

I like it. But it's too big. It require to remodel the LR, ILZ, and LL. I'd also make it a upgrade to the cyclops. You need the Cyclops built to build the Atlas. So that it doesn't make the Cyclops pointless, by skipping it.

It's random. I've put stuff in that area, it was fine. Reload jammed, reloaded again, not jammed. I got tired of hot potatoes. Just left only small things on the bulkhead walls.

Known bug. You saved the game half way through scans. So it reset you. The mod station is random like everything else. You will run into problems like that all the time. It was in areas you just missed.

There is. But since some people don't like making bases in ILZ etc. It has less options. I always use Thermal plants for my ILZ base. I make usually 20 to power it fairly easy. -
