Having the same issue, have to admit the second picture's "Oh No!" got me chuckling.

They must have changed that recently about a week or two ago I got bored and tried to free a giant floater from the island with the terraformer, so at least a week or two ago I could terraform and build on the island.

Actually I think it's a great idea; it makes the game world feel more alive than just full of food/decoration.

While I'd like a Spear Gun myself, it'd be easily abused...

If you read the Trello there seems to be discussion and current rough designs for a power system that will be more robust and complex than is currently in the game now.

Well it looks like with the new Crashed Ship update coming up soon, there will be large chunks of debris on the seafloor. So perhaps part of your ideas may be implemented. The problem with "floating debris" is that they'd have to be extremely large …

Well. you can't kill reapers so far (tried with a knife and spawning him), but you can stasis rifle them.

Maybe I have the wrong Rebreather? Mine says "Ignores Depth & Enviromental Breathing Effects" which I took to imply it negates Oxygen Consumption?
Either way it doesn't seem to work. -
