I agree with using the mouse wheel to adjust the height of what you are placing. I know these mechanics are all still in flux. I dont see the devs leaving the moonpool on the ground digging out holes. The legs on the thing are extended to random l…

Oh yeah, this really needs to be implemented. I have seen one other person on here suggest this sort of thing, but your display really shows it's usefulness. I think this is something that would increase efficiency with out adding too much EASY or …

When I was a little man, my dad took me to see the first jaws in 3d. he put the glasses on me and held me up above his head just as the shark jumped up on the back of the boat to swallow quint. I had to be about 5 or so. Think I fr… -

I have studied them passively since I was a wee ladd. Books and lots of shark week on discovery chamnel. Now I frequent youtube for shark studies. I used to boogeyboard on the pacific coast in dangerous white laden waters. Not a scratch or a sightin…

That will be along in due time. As resource heavy as this game is, Im sure there will be plenty of audio and video sliders to suit our needs.

As do I. I about jump out of my skin if I so much as hear a stalker or bone shark making that breathy hissing noise around me. As long as nothing looks like an earth shark, I can get through it. Fascinated with sharks. Hav… -
The Seamoth is going to be a sweet ride when all the upgrades are in. Really looking forward to a solar panel for the Gas hog though. Time and patience.

yes, currently the icon is a (?) in the menu. install it in any of the side ports of the moonpool. -
Balls!

Im with 04leonhardt on this one. His science is correct, and I agree the uranium should be attainable at greater depths. Around the time that seamoth and exo depth modules come into play. It should be difficult to get to, but plentiful once found.

@Kalimando where did you find that concept picture? tried finding it in the media section, and on a general google search. Want to see if there is more tech concept art …

muting the game would be detrimental to characters health. For instance, toolin along in the moth and not hearing the roar of death from 04leonhardts favorite friend.
-
There should be surface danger. Swimming on the surface, your silhouette betrays you. Real sharks make use of this for seals. This could be a thing for surface swimming over deeper waters.

This seems to be a commonly accepted idea as I have heard it mentioned in other posts. I agree with it as well. It seems that a base with no power still has some kind of back up power to aid with building and supplies, and it wou… -
@Kalimando The grand reef where I live primarily, gets down to about 625m or so. So I think that is still pretty shallow depth considering 3 of the seamoth depth module…

@04Leonhardt Ready to be back on top of the food chain are we? Thats ok, Im am as well. Dont want to kill everything, but the gating should, through upgrades and adva…

if you go to the grand reef and freecam under the sea floor a few feet you will see what is on the rise for exo intent. Mining. There are crystals everywhere a few feet inside the floor and walls. That I assume will be for the exo … -

I second the underwater flamethrower.

this is what the exo will be for. deep mning and resource gathering. yes there will be storage and upgrades just like the moth will have. -
that is correct. once the verticle connectors are in place, select ladder from the build menu and point at the floor or roof(which ever is connected to the vert) and build a ladder. the verts dont make ladders. they are just a connecting tube. they …
-
you can only connect 4. in order to use the other 4, the tubes would have to have a 45 degree rotation option, which they dont. I do hope the devs add a 45 degree rotation option option though.
-
Well I agree they could be a little more aestheticly pleasing. All thr new power options are not done yet. I think they will make the solars better looking and more fitting of the look of the tech eventually.
-
I just dont see the exo as being combat armor. The moth will put up a better offensive I think when the upgrades are all in place.

If we did that, we would be forced to build near the surface. With the current system, you can build in a cave if you wanted, put the panels near the waters surface outside, then link them with the crystals. Your idea would work fo… -
In the safe shallows, there is a drop off ledge facing away from the aurora. Under that ledge is a large vertice cave mouth big enough to take your seamoth into. That cave mouth goes in several meters then straight down to the jelly shroom caves. th…

Not sure if you are missing a step, but I will explain them. So you have a tube on the sea floor. Then you use a couple vertical connectors on the top of the tube. Place another tube section on top of the connector. enter either top or bottom tu…

Exploding does not seem logical considering they already have one exploding fish. Cant imagine a species would make it too far exploding all the time.
