Much appreciated Max. My seamoth is docked, and I miss the cool fast navigation between mushroom trees, and cave tubes, with out a single CRUNCH sound. Controls were responsive and fairly precise. Could go flying through a cave with no bumps. Look…

Never Mind, its the big aquarium.

I have not played in roughly three months. I got very bored. I know its alpha and nowhere near complete, but playing to the limits of the development every time a tidbit is added, really sucks the entertainment value from the game. Also, I got frust…

I would be ok with the islands being out of view in order to add to the exploration part of the game. Considering most of what you need to survive is under water, I dont see them becoming a detraction from the game. The tech tree can be started on t…

I dont get why folks are so damned butt hurt about some land masses. Yes its an under water based game, but to believe a planet that supports life, which likely has a magnetic field, which implies a molten core and potential volcanic activity, woul…

Thor, I agree with you, to a point. I would use the cyclops more often if the power requirements were handled. I would use it for a resource hauler. I would use it as a deep sea explorer and transport as it will be able to go deeper then the moth.…

All those ideas will be for not, if they cant get a handle on the power consumption. There is no reason a ship that size should be running on batteries. Where are the antimatter reactors? Something with some longevity to it. I am not going to waste …

everything I figured out about moonpool placement.

The map has not been implemented yet but will likely be in future updates. As for the lack of tech, there are fragments all over the map which you can use to get new tech. So this lacking of things that you notice is due to its pre alpha state. This…

I really dig the idea of the exo being modular. I want it to be really advanced tech though. I want it to be so cool, but it takes much time to work up to, collecting all the frags. The Moonpool I think will suffice for the most part. People see…

I agree with the bone sharks being too numerous. I was trying to collect silver in the red grass area just past the big round jelly shroom cave entrance in the shallows. I encountered at least six bone sharks along the cliff wall where the green a…

These poles can get goofy, but considering our ship was shot down by something on the planet, could easily open the door for an alien ship which suffered the same fate but didnt land in the shallows. Went straight to the black depths. Also having fo…

Click the door open or closed and close your eyes for a few seconds. Im understanding of physical alements and disabilities, but having to increase your coding time to accomodate a small percentage of a player base seems a bit ridiculous. This busi…

Moya from farscape was not gross. Badass living ship. I have similar ideas for a living sub when we discover some ancient alien tech or something like that. Integrating sea biology with our tech would be fan frakkin tastic. -
That female model has some serious realestate between her hair line and eyeballs.

That just bites! Just as I start getting my bases set up for optimum survivability, I have to start over again. Oh well. Thats early access for ya.

I am in experimental survival and I cant see that pointy island with the cave up on top. I have found a place under water with magnetite and a reaper and biter fish, but that above ground one is not on my screen at all. I have freecamed all over t…

What are the coords of that pointy island?
EDIT: ok I cant see that pointy island, but I did find a place under water where the magnetite lives and the reaper. Be careful down there, the reaper is still swimming in and out of the rock f… -
Finally the magnetite shows back up. On a second note, that cave up top makes me think of some huge flying reptilian thing, and it makes the shriek that pterodactyls made in Johnny Quest.

Well its not done yet. It may come later, or a different iteration for critters all together. The red wire frame is just killer though. I expect there will be tweaks and adjustments to it to accommodate finding what you are looking for. I would like…

Both of those drawings look awesome. Love the crawler, it should grip stone walls so you can ascend or descend a verticle cliff. The mother ship sub would be great, but operating the cyclops already feels cramped operating at the farthest reaches of…
-
Also, gene splicing with the transfuser may also allow for deeper descent without a vehicle.
-
I would think a player crush depth will be implemented at some point once there are more ways to prevent the player from having to exit the vehicle. Like once the moth and the exo are done, there may be little reason to exit them at a depth that wou…

Im in experimental build. It's not inside the jelly shrooms.

As I understand it, the reefbacks we see are younglings of some sort. I heard there will be Huge ones with a reef ecosystem of some kind on its back.

the sketchfab image looks like the legs will fold up to a fetal position. So butt cheeks may dangle, but it does not look like the legs will hang far into the water.

I suspect its wind turbines for the big surface floating island. Not those smaller ones under water. That to me makes the most possible sense.

This game seems to attract folks with ocean based phobias.
WIKI:
Thalassophobia can include fear of being in large bodies of water, fear of the vast emptiness of the sea, and fear of distance from land.[3] Thalassophobes may also b… -
I agree. It's in the way of where you need to see, which is down most of the time. A detailed command helm with a seat would be great. Holo displays, around the edges of the window. Get geeky with it.
