- There are ways to get a steady food supply. I reckon you haven't yet found them. More options'd be nice, but, you know, at midgame you should ready and well be free from hunger/thirst restrictions.

Small additions:
7.) Messages through the comm. relay are triggered by various actions, like fabricating certain items/furniture or visiting certain places. So be active yourself.

Heh, I'm afraid the sentiment is mutual. No hurt taken or meant; perspective's just funny like that.
The drill thing is a point of contention that puts me in a spot I dislike: defending considerations while having no ow… -
The cutefish's home is on 4546B. Bringing it along would be selfish.

A general reply to comments about how certain things don't have to change:
I mostly "agree". The only points I consider myself personally invested in are smoother control scheme, proper seamoth/PRAWN interaction, better flank speed/silen… -

Pressure, yes, the other two, no. Or at least, I've been doing fine without them. Sonar I have on me, but find I don't use that much (might be because I've come to know the map so well + I rarely visit the JSC anymore). Also thinki… -
I voted no new slots. I find that the current selection fits the uses and considerations of all three vessels. However, would the number of modules drastically increase, my opinion likely'd change.

I don't think the Cyclops is useless either and love driving it, but fact is that a lot of people do think it is. There's currently a pretty nasty thread over on Steam to confirm that. And we might as well think along on ways this … -
It's not specific to what you want, but checkins is good to keep track of live development (experimental) and which number it's on + you can check the screenshot…

That's the wiser, because while the world is finished, the story still misses two steps. I don't know when the escape will be implemented -- I recall word that it won't until release to keep people with something significant to loo… -

Voice of the Deep is the last major content update. The world is now finished (in V1.0 terms, anyway), but there'll be updates until September/October wi… -

I'm glad I'm not alone in feeling the situation with copper is off. And while I appreciate the advice/think-along, neither of these qualify as solutions in my book. Sea Treaders are late-mid game, and though I accept them as a stea… -

Yes, they still do. -

The sea emperor really is in no position to question anyone's trustworthiness, nor is the player to question theirs. Either character's existence is luck's mercy providing one final chance. -
More of a lightweight user, but this change pleases me. The previous 20s difference was really not enough to justify the ultra.
-
Should be amended though. Like, it's a situation you can get out, but one that shouldn't be possible in the first place.
-
It's not you alone this annoys, but there's a lot about the Cyclops that still dissatifies the player base so thinks get a little drowned out. It is a huge oversight that hopefully gets amended before V1.0.

There's a trello card to make data boxes containing prints you've already found open, so disappointment from a duplicate box should no longer happen in the furue. I do hope there'll be more recipes eventually, though. -

Yeah. Consider the mesmer's hypnotism as foreshadowing the emperor's telepathy. And the precursors were self-centered jerks so I'd sooner throw it on them being closed off to the emperor's call than being inherently incompatible.Thank you on #6. It's been driving me nuts ever since the recipe became available, but I didn't get a discussion out of it back then. (Of course, I …(Quote)
Seconding this getup, with emphasis on the drill arm for harvesting. If you're not used to the PRAWN, it might be wise to run a little getting-the-feel-of-it round in a relatively secure area with lots of vertical travel. Like mayb…Yeah, cool idea, but too much animation and preoccupation to fit the flow of the gameplay.
Databoxes containing stuff you've already acquired will be in opened state in the future.Little tip on stasis rifle usage: I find it much easier to target a surface and then hide behind or inside the bubble and let the critters come to me. That's how I get my reaper scan too: I go for the one behind the Aurora because its near the surfa…As long as I can remember, complaints regarding the Cyclopes were like 50% "OP, not bothering with bases" and 50% "useless garbage". Not to say it's all unfounded, but there's definitely an area where you gotta accept that not every aspect of the ga…They've got no use anymore (or for the foreseeable future, anyway). You could keep them for the sake of it, but otherwise you could probs use the space better.(Quote)
Same. The thrill whether or not you'll make it, disorientation kicking in, and that last ditch attempt to reach your vehicle timely as the screen fades to black already is delightful and easily the game's most potent reminder you'r…(Quote)
A technical bit to consider there is that the pipes and bases are meant to be static, while vehicles are not. What's supposed to happen if you drive off with pipes still attached or if you're under attack by a leviathan? The Cyclop…There used to be a Power Generator like this in the early versions of the game. Check the Removed Content page on the SNWiki. And since then there's been a good call for it to be re-implemented, but so far no luck.

The advice is to start afresh, but updates always work on old saves, though there are things that might not be brought over right. The fresher the save file, the better the merge.
