There's a Sparse Reef wreck now?!? -
Shouldn't we first see how this'll work out in-game before making any claims one way or another? From what I can tell, those creatures are quite a way out of the immediate routes and I currently can't imagine them being close to as troublesome as th…

I'm majorly looking forward on all those roar anim updates. I love it when UWE updates the crittters.
The vehicle HUDs are looking good!, though seemingly still missing light feedback the way the Cyclops got. I kinda ho… -

You'd have to massively, purposely sequence-break the game to accomplish that. If there's gonna be an alternate cutscene, then the Sunbeam might as well pick you up. It's not like you haven't shown you can get through the adventure… -

Curious then, do you feel old!day and new!night are a fair match to each other? -
A partially destroyed-by-impact precursor base inside the "mountain" the Aurora crashlanded on, travel through which is seaglide- & jetpack-dependent because the other vehicles are too big and/or water-bound.

I can agree with that. I like the dark of the Grand Reef and the way everything pops out against it yet still can catch you by surprise. But going to the GR at night is something I rarely do, especially now that various resources h… -
Meah, if people want to go out into the Void, let them. "People may compete to see who can last the longest in the void." refers to people who know what they're doing, so let 'em try (in all honesty, doesn't sound too bad for a hidden achievement). …

I have to agree that the brightness takes away from the aesthetic of the GF.

You can see on Checkin if your bug report has been received (if it's recent, anyway). I don't know how they are processed, though.
Not everything tha… -
Just saying, though, base pumps do make for pretty nifty "torches" to spice up a garden or the base itself. The oxygen could be a little less dusty-looking, but it adds dimension still.

This might have gotten lost in my anti-key change thing, but I really want that extra tunnel. If it's an option, please do make it. And if it comes down to it, I find locking the PTPG through the DRF an agreeable exch… -
I didn't even know it was in the Dunes. I get mine from the Grand Reef. How hard it is to obtain then depends on that game's warper spawn behavior. Is it possible you could've unknowingly scanned the fragments among all the other ones you can get at…

At least they did something fun with the former entrance and the BKZ is right next to the Dunes. Checkin in the past two days also makes mention of more wrecks that are being placed in the Dunes, but I don't know what size wreck we… -
I dislike the key system in SN enough as it is. All purple and then a random orange and blue. At least the blue one has a defined role where I understand from a story POV why blue is so rare and found where it is found. But orange is sad among all t…

Yes, but I don't consider it worthwhile. That is, unless I'm missing out on other wrecks (haven't figured how to get in the right wing of the mountains wreck), the only wreck worth creating a midway point for is the one nearby Life… -
Update on the thermometer: It's going to be default data provided by the vehicles. Given there's no checkbox for non-vehicle means to check tempe…

My objection to that is that the chip then becomes a moot point; sort of a non-ingredient the way titanium is in anything but big building. It does not appeal to me. I'd prefer if chips (and advanced wiring kits) would be treated a… -

That one I didn't know of. I got mine in either wreck [-320 -57 252] or [320 -40 -336].

It's probably going into boxes in the Safe Shallows like the seaglide. Should be easy enough to find. If your base is not too far from the surface and you do not have a beacon, you can stack vertical connectors to make it visible abovewater. It's ho…

I don't mean to be rude, but I've read the O2 thread at least five times since it was first put up and I still don't get what you're saying (in regards to vehicles; bases are mostly clear). I think the problem for me is that you ju… -
- A default strategy to deal with warpers pulling you out of your vehicle is to swim up (space bar) immediately. Warpers cannot follow well vertically and it's easier to find your vehicle by looking down than around you.

I should say, no respawnable resources isn't a problem to me because I run out. Yes, by the time you try to get a third base setup certain resources have become cheeks to find and that plays a role, but my problem mostly lies with the game experienc…

Signals should be pings, and the ping list should be split up in two tabbed lists (sorta like the databank): One for own signals and one for received signals (this includes the Sunbeam landing site signal). Nice and clean separation.

I'm not sure what's being said here. Wouldn't the ghost make sense as part of the sea dragons' diet? -
I have two default bases atm and I sometimes build a third or fourth.
My main base is just north of the cave entrance to the JSC, on a slope that leads from the SS to the KF. It's a nice roomy spot that gives me a clean line to the BKZ, … -
Little curious, is there any word on if we'll have ghost leviathan skeletons in the LZ?
-
Are we certain this is the case? Because I've got two save files on the latest stable and I got the compass (recipe) on both. It's a pretty tough to find data box, at least the one I'm certain to contain it, but it's still in the game.

Big beasties on the outskirts only is why right now about a third of the surface map is pointless because it's full of reapers and there's nothing to do/find there. It's a dilemma, but I hope the current experimental situation with the new leviathan…
