This feels like going from difficult to masochist

I believe that the point of bringing the Carar to the planet was to study the Sea Emperors, which had the potential to cure the Carar. Being such a massive being, I doubt they were seeking to move it off-world.
-
Can't you just place 2 planter pots instead?

A square pot would be nice, IMO. Also gives more scannables variety. -
I think that 2 tools interacting with the same object is unnecessary and most would find it annoying to have to switch between them, whereas the scanner tool just does it all in one go.
I do love the idea of different varied loot from di… -
Not sure if you care at all, but for the sake of helping you when you try talking about it to others, it's referred to as "FPS" (Frames Per Second). You were very close.
For reference, most consider 30FPS passable and 60FPS is good. -
The crabsnakes are enough of a hazard down there, IMO. A camouflaged shark of that nature would do well in the Mushroom forest, which currently has no creature threats in it.
-
While I think it would be nice, it's probably unnecessary. I'm sure they'll implement this somewhere around or after 1.0 though.

If I recall, at some point there was a small connection to the Lost river via the Blood Kelp trench. I was trying to take my cyclops out of the LR and ended getting it almost trapped in that crevice. Not sure if it's there anymore. I believe it was …

Clear the save file, there's a number of posts on how to do it without losing the save itself. It will reset terrain and loot, but nothing you have accomplished as a player. (You might need to reopen a few wrecks, though.) This usually fixes the pro…

Since the Castles & Coffee update is going to be incorporated in as well, I would fully expect it to take at least another month. -
That baby Reefback is a very bad sign that it's home was reset to the coordinates 0,0,0 due to a bug. This seems fine, until you go near the aurora and a reaper spawns in....and then proceeds to ALSO make it's home at 0,0,0.
If this happ… -
Personally, I feel that the current way to tame stalkers is fine. It doesn't need to be much, just a cool way to interact with the local fauna. I think there should be a couple other ways to interact with the other creatures similar to the stalker.<…

This would be a welcome addition, but it sadly is probably not going to happen. Besides, there's already areas where people rarely travel because there's nothing there (I.E. behind the Crash Zone), so I doubt that a bigger world would fix anything.<…

There are currently 3 Precursor caches, which essentially give the same effect as a wreck does: great loot assuming you take the time to explore and find them.
I do think there should be more of them, and with more detail than what they … -
Good: Great aesthetic. The game looks phenomenal and the atmosphere, especially the first time you experience a new Biome, is incredible.
Bad: Even for early access, the optimization is absolutely terrible. It's to be expected, but the g… -
Something is only scary when you have little to no way to combat it. Reapers are already pretty non-threatening to experienced players, so anything else that gives you an advantage over them seems unnecessary.

The Prawn will slowly lose health but not much else should happen. Lava is only instakill if the player touches it themselves.

I'm glad you're excited, but this is plastered over the front page already

Well, we can honestly only speculate until they put it out, but otherwise, check the Trello board for what is "Done" or "Doing" for the next listed update.
Currently we can tell it's a bunch of story stuff. -

I'm no expert, but it's probably the game's fault. The game tends to lag more and crash more as you load and save and interact with more areas, as it has more and more to keep track of. I have a beast of a machine and it still has … -

The Devs stated that they tried procedural generation, and decided that the quality of the environment wasn't up to snuff when using it. They went for a handcrafted world as a design decision. While it would be interesting, I think… -
It would help to send logs to the Devs so they can find out what's causing the problem. This post would better belong in Bug reporting. They can tell you what to do there.

The mountains wreck is fairly accessible, assuming you're very careful. The reaper can't follow you into the wreck and tends to avoid moving near it in general, so as long as you park you park your seamoth where it's protected you should be safe fro…

There's no need for a Subnautica 2. They will update more into the game post-v1.0, and probably much more than you think.
Take Terraria for example. That game's 1.0 compared to the current 1.3.4 is completely different. It can't even be … -
When I bought Subnautica (sometime before the farming update? back when the ILZ was barely sculpted), a full playthrough with pretty much everything took ~20 hours of gameplay. I already considered that good for the price tag. Now, my most recent pl…

For goodness sake, stop asking. The Devs have repeatedly told us that the updates don't always get out on time, as there's a lot that needs to be taken care of. Wait patiently and it'll come.
If you're so desperate for new content, try E… -
I've been a big fan of games similar to the likes of Minecraft and Terraria. These kind of resource-driven, exploration survival games are really fun when done right. I saw a video on youtube of subnautica and decided to pick it up.

SNAFU, which, as is obvious, is an anime. Pretty hilarious MC.

I'm pretty sure the Devs were planning on making the acidic brine dangerous to an unprepared player.
It's possible that simply wearing a Reinforced Dive Suit could counteract this, though. -
If it helps any, terrain generation appears to prefer placing Limestone on the ground and Sandstone on walls and ceilings. When exploring caves, Limestone will be found on the ground and Sandstone on the cave walls. This is probably why it's harder …
