There was a WoW achievement "The cake is NOT a lie" for baking a cake made from rather rare ingredients, like certain eggs. Since I had nothing better to do at that time, I camped those creatures for an afternoon.

I am so happy that the cake is not a lie...
I remember a WoW achievement of the name. :-) Took me hours to farm those darn eggs. Those were fun times, although it seems like an eternity away. -
I found some in theunderwater islands zone

Both? IIRC there is only one hatch. It is the same thing that acts as "door" to your base.

I have had this bug hit me, too. Saving and reloading fixed it for me.

If you go very fast - like Seamoth style fast - you will encounter some lag due to terrain reloading.
After building the Cyclops (very big submarine) you will find that powering it is a problem. It looks like the battery recharger did no… -

The ingame lore explanation can be found... ingame. If it is still the same as was on experimental, you can find something that will tell you a short story about those bases.

I would rather have it later than have it rushed.

I am not very helpful, I know... But I just could not resist... :-) -

Isn't that cool! There is also a spotlight on the roof that is scannable.

It didn't show up for me too, but things on experimental change so fast its hard to keep up. -
I have put together a list of debug console commands to unlock those blueprints that I could not find fragments for. (That doesn't mean they do not exist I just could not find one)

My favorite option is missing: NONE
I think we are well equipped with submarines. We have- a big customizable sub, it acts as our mobile base with docking possibilities for the Seamoth or the Exosuit - as soon as we can recharge i…

I tried it yesterday and I must say, I do not agree. I went to the floating island - which I consider "far" away from my base for both Seamoth and Cyclops. Maybe my perception is different than yours but the island is still "far" a… -
I have been thinking, since we have fruits now with - I hope - fructose in them, we could maybe make fruit juice, like HangingFruitJuice(TM) or even more maybe with the help of special high-tech equipment we could create, like... liquor? Melon Schna…

I have been struggling with this bug on experimental for - I think - one or two weeks now. It is as you describe, the player falls through the floor of the base. I even built a corridor and a hatch under my base so I could switch to swimming mode ag…

I had a problem with this in my rather old main savegame. The melons could not be attacked, would not be destroyed and no melon seeds were given. But since the base is still in its shiny version and not rusted in this game I guess … -
But you CAN destroy the melon with your knife. I just found out, you will get 4 melon seeds that you can plant in the planter. Then more melons will grow. :-)

Didn't he already see that?
Edit: Yes, he did, page 4:

I do not know if "should" is the right word here. I am quite sure the vision was a group of small bases each with an independant power supply and not a world spanning powerline network (of doom) like the one I created.

Honestly I do not know if it is a true recursive function. You can watch the connections form after a game was loaded (if you are fast enough) I had cases where I watched the solar panels alternately add one segment to their powerline until they "me…

Shouldn't it be "Batteries are made from lead" and not "Lead is made from batteries"?
