If you have 3 tech points on veil and see that they are attacking Control then you can basetrade and should win.
I normally get proto started after weps 1, armor 2 to make sure exo are out early as they help a lot. -

I don't remember Blizzard adding any new units or abilities during the life of SC2 Wings of Liberty. At most they removed or added higher tech upgrades and fiddled with a few numbers.

shell/spur/veil traits appear at the upper left of your screen when they are available. Can't remember if they are there are there always but they are definitely there when your map is activated

Robo builds pretty fast. You can start building it even after the power goes down in your distant base and still have a chance to save it by repowering the pg.

It isn't very fun to play Onos when you have to retreat before getting into melee range of any marine so I can understand why people lose them.

As good as Exos are, a lot of aliens players make the same mistakes which are easily rectified:
Walking into marines at the start instead of waiting for marines to come to them and ambush.

Because the effect is applied on top of the normal rendering. Turning on alien vision should only ever decrease your fps.

The top-speed movement is already really fast. Giving more speed to the better, more knowledgeable players widens the skill gap and makes them exponentially harder to shoot at.

Right now you have to CTRL + click on a hallucination to select all of them. If alternatively, you box around them and you end up covering a player unit in that selection then you'll not select any hallucinations, just the players.

If every fade player on the team has 40:1 then I would say Fade is broken.
If it's just 1 guy then he would probably be the same on marines with jp shotgun and we would see the same argument about going 4v1 with skulks. -
I think some of the things holding ns2 back are inherent to the design. Losing sucks and playing with any higher lifeform or weapon gives you one chance to not die - this is something that you have to learn and it's hard.

It's good that Onos aren't autowin now, but they have definitely been nerfed too hard. You can do so much more with a skulk or gorge than with Onos and most of the time they would just soak up bullets - which they are fairly bad since 250
