or you know it could be folks feel they are on the back foot and it's an entertaining jaunt. most of the gorge rushes I've been part of have been mad adventures. it's for shits and giggles not serious business.

If I can't run at an ones with an axe out and a grin, what is the point of playing. Also the pinnacle of alien tactics is a tower of gorges.

It's no different in other games, I'd play with people with endless hours behind them in CS and it's sequels and the same issues would crop up. it's just how it is, they weren't brainless either, some were engineers/programmers etc… -
I think it's more the open areas have so much visual noise some folks have issues with it.

Less than 1000 active players a day and you have a target like that. Gotta manage your budgets better.

In a straight line along the floor, I like to call them land torpedos.

We have a winner, could not have been better put. -
Also fps is crucial, do everything you can to get that up.
I know not everyone is able but do not panic.spray, if you can't see a skulk stop shooting unless you know he's about to appear. -
He's not wrong. Just getting a 144htz monitor made such a difference. Like meat I played cs, css, a ton of cod 1 & 2 at a very high level and NS2 is a different beast.

Not sure who it was but I only got a game in on mineshaft and tram yesterday. Meat definitely wasn't on as I was messaging him on steam.
Personally I'm of the opinion that at this point anything that damages our quite frankly meagre play… -
Not sure what the difference in best destroying lower skilled players and comp players doing the same on a regular server full of players way below a comp player is.
-
I'll think you'll find Yo has always been "rookie friendly".

Indeed, I quite wonder if folks like this will be able to work out why there are no populated servers around. -

How does someone know it's a bad decision, you can do the right thing and still get destroyed. If your only experience is a public game your never going to be aware of comp tactics or why a player would move in a certain way throug… -
That's not what he said and you know it.

now your just being a muppet.

Well it may be it's not evil but if one player is deciding the outcome then yes it will destroy a game. You say folks should learn when perhaps they just don't have the time or as I believe they have hit their skill ceiling.
-
More importantly is it blue or red.
-
And once again you say it's not that hard, but the evidence is not there to back it up. I agree I think it's not that hard but I can only comment from my personal experience.
-
I'd have to ask. But if it was that simple then why are we not swamped with high level play.
-
Which takes time, how many hours do you play for in a week? Some of the folks I see will play at most for an hour every so often.
-
Indeed there are a few old timers who play on the yo server and no amount of practice will give them that twitch aim you need. I've heard it before someone convinced that it just takes time to learn, some poor buggers no longer have that manual dext…

It was on a humble bundle not long ago and that did nothing. Anyone who was interested has had a look. -

Amen to this, it's not like I would have the time or the inclination now to put that kind of effort in. More important things need attention these days. -
I think it's only going to get worse as the player base slowly bleeds away. Same with Quake 3 only having the insane players left.
-
Meat forgets to mention that after the ones kill his marine team were slaughtered like the dogs they are. We now wear their smelly corpses as hats.

A tad excessive for one game

It's fun but the margin of error is miniscule compared to shift and crag.

Godamn steam is down!
