Unfortunately Subnautica is not the most optimized game out there right now, more so for the XB1 version.

I know that the direction the moonpool faces is dependent on the direction you place the foundation. I believe that the direction the gray portion faces is the way your vehicle will face in the moonpool.

I think you all are missing the big issue here. We need to be able to place anything into the decoy deploy tube and launch it at creatures similar to the Rock-It-Launcher or Junk Jet from Fallout 3 & 4 respectively.
