Why didn't you add your idea to the already existing - and very popular - thread about the exact same topic?
http://forums.unkno… -
Exactly... please, people, do a basic search through the forum before you start a new topic like that. Having several threads about one and the same addition to the game really kills any chances for discussion we could possibly have.

(Quote) I've written it many times on this forum and I will write it again - it really is ALL about increasing performance and there's no way around it.
In order to let you keep ANY level of land manipulation, even to just create a sm… -
I agree that a third person camera would solve the problem simply by providing scale comparison between the player and the creatures. Look at ABZU game that is storming YouTube right now - you play in third person there and even just watching a game…

Always happy to share the captured beauty of this game!

That's a cutefish egg right there! OMG, if we get to actually hatch it ourselves (instead of just adding it to our inventory through a promotion code) I'm gonna die of cuteness overload.Already mentioned: The Abyss. One of my personal all time favorite movies, one I keep coming back to, because it has aged with a lot of dignity. My fascination with that move was actually one of the main factors I've decided to buy Subnautica…I also think that the game is doing more than fine instructing a brand new player about what to do. There are obvious, visual clues about the chunks and, whenever you have the scanner in your inventory, an icon pops up when you are looking at a scan…(Quote) With just a little bit precise movement, beds fit quite nicely into an observation room as well - falling asleep surrounded by fish is awesome. Just saying.

Just guessing here but - if it comes at all - it will be after 1.0.<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/4vUBsTJYK28" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>I'm no coder, but I'd rather not pile work up on the devs right now.
Keeping teraforming in a separate game version/as an option may very well be just a matter of changing one line in the code, but let's not forget that the development o…The change/improvement is so AMAZING!
As far as I'm concerned, seamoth steering is absolutely perfect now - it's responsive and, simply put, FUN!
Thank you so much for that, devs!I think what the game needs is some sort of heavy penalty system for eating the same thing for extended periods of time. Eat one type of fruit for two-three days? Boom, your stomach rebels causing severe dehydration and you are losing health all of …Actually, terraforming really, really needs to go to improve the game's overall performance. As much as I am going to miss being able to build my bases into the terrain, the possibility of shorter loading times and elimination of pop-in and stutteri…Not to shame your toilet kinks, but... let's take one of the more famous examples: have you read The Lord of the Rings? Either poor Frodo made it across the entire world and haven't had a dump ONCE, or... some things are implied and don't need to be…Very happy to see the delay being more than just a couple of weeks, strange as it may sound coming from a player. It means more time to polish the game, iron out the bugs, and make everything more awesome. I can wait for that.I've also learned that lesson... in the funny way, thanks to experimental game mode on the day the farming elements showed up there.
Reveling in all the decorating possibilities the update had brought, I started a lovely little underwate…I hope it stays. And that there will be more such gems throughout the game.I always build my base close enough to the surface to still have day/night cycle as far as light goes, constant changes help keep things fresh. Second criteria for me is an interesting view outside - I like spending considerable amounts of time in m…I can only speak for myself, but I do like the darkness. I like swimming out during the night, while sitting in a dark with headphones on, not knowing what I will encounter and when. I like getting lost, stumbling upon a glowing fish or plant all of…(Quote)
This. And why didn't you even bother to play the game before you came here to post? The "issue" mentioned in the OP is non-existent now.Just a general note, because I've learned the hard way to stay out of any discussions on this forum:
The moment you resort to name calling and personal insults, you have lost the argument. Calling 80% of the people here idiots, do…It does look very pretty... but I hate playing with a controller and steering will most probably be very clumsy with a mouse/keyboard combo. Not a game for me, sadly.Apologies for getting into your field here, Coranth, but this new Trello entry got me so excited I had to share ASAP:
I was in a cafe, sipping an espresso, when I saw a guy watching a Subnautica video from some unknown to me YouTuber. I couldn't help myself and kept taking peeks over his shoulder, because the visuals were so gorgeous. I didn't know the game's name …(Quote) 100% agree. Couldn't have said it better myself. As I wrote above - I simply stopped using the seamoth, and I'm still enjoying the game to the fullest, so no matter if the steering gets changed/fixed or not, I will still play the game and…(Quote)
Please, remember that the fact that you, specifically, have no problem with something does not mean that others are making a big issue out of nothing. I dare say enough of those affected by the change have spoken up on this forum a…I completely understand that - being a knowledgeable science enthusiast - you get a different perspective on the game than most of the players do. That technical inaccuracies become annoying for you. Do take under consideration the majority of the p…
