I'd much rather have a sub which is intermediate in size between the seamoth and the cyclops.
Maybe a two-seat cargo sub with a controllable arm/drill (or something along those lines)? -
The spider things in the floating underwater islands fall out via the tunnels - they need to be replaced with spiders that don't jump I suppose (or be kept on a tighter leash)?

IMHO, an upgrade in one area should lead to a downgrade in another area. That is how you get varied gameplay instead of a linear progression. -
Persistent survival gameplay:
- Weather to damage bases near the surface (and change distributions of threats and availability of resources).
- Possibly have creatures attack deep water bases
- Possibly have precursor crab robots h… -

Okay, so I'll tell you about my crude, unprofessional technique...
1) I grabbed the relatively high-res concept art of the cute fish
2) I used console commands to spawn a Sea Dragon Leviathan in open water a… -

I'm increasingly glad I made that!

The silly thing is having silent running turn off all noise regardless of speed!

Bones & PRAWN were both wonderful... I really love the different perspective given by the PRAWN, and I love Bones... but the functionality of the extra rooms leads to more enjoyment of all biomes.

1) Quest to get the Cutefish (Hints lead to finding it inside of the giant mushroom tree)
2) Quest to get rid of the annoying Cutefish -

Yeah, I have to agree - the night should be dark. It is one of the most distinctive things about that biome (and makes it cousin to the ghost kelp). -
I think the OP has a perfect idea (both of the OPs, and me for that matter - although I wanted tunnels that were narrow enough only a seamoth, or better yet a seaglide could make the trip!).

The simplest solution is just to replace the vertical drop with a muddy or dune like gradual slope into the abyss that is boring.....
Boring is the way to go...
... or any other excuse to remove the 90 degree vertical drop(Quote)
The solution is to actually build more than one base - which I think is of real benefit to gameplay!I always imagined it as smaller than a reaper.
That is another possible solution.
Or at least to have a juvenile version in the river...Apparently your a strange aquatic offshoot of humanity... hard to explain the hair though!Yes. We are still in early access.
I just hope we'll be able to pick it up and put it in a fish tank... (if we get tired of it). We used to be able to pick the darn thing up - but now it just gets tickled if you try! That is assuming the autosave doesn't corrupt our game files (or prevent us from quitting after a catastrophic glitch).
Imagine a player being stuck walking on the ocean floor and unable to swim due to the base glitch... one could easily…Maybe a baby ghost dragon leviathan then?
A Compromise! in The Ghost Leviathan is now in experimental! Comment by Avimimus May 2017
I suspect they may have had to scale it up in order to let it swallow people. I'd have kept it less aggressive and smaller myself...
...but then again, I'd also keep the Sea Dragon smaller than the Sea Emperor!
It'd also be good to have some randomisation (e.g. different moods at different times... so predators aren't always aggressive - it'd make things less predictable and more challenging).(Quote)
Honestly, I'd rather be away from the crabs. So, what I'm seeing is:
- A consensus that players don't want to be forced to only use autosave (everyone wants a manual save option)
- Disagreement about whether players should be able to quit without saving (with a minority…I avoid using the cyclops... or the seamoth solar charger... this means I need moonpools to recharge efficiently... this makes me build in more areas!
So three moonpool bases for recharging (equidistant) and one or two bases for moving t…Wimps

Yeah the UI is really not my preference - especially the compass (no numbers!).
But honestly, the whole style is too bulking - just give me a numerical readout in a corner of the screen!in Silent Running Update Released! - Subnautica Comment by Avimimus April 2017
I really don't like the new compass... I want something non-colourful, non-distracting, and something that allows me to take accurate readings.
That said - this really is brilliant - and I love the new caves. I'm blown away really. Now a…(Quote)
Hi Nesrak - So I want to work on a few mods, but all of my experience is modding things like flight simulators (I have no real experience with Unity). I was wondering if you could give some advice about where key values are located…
