I once started keeping sheep in a pit that was covered in wooden fence posts to look like it was some sort of cage over the top, with a trap door to head down and feed, sheer and slaughter. Then my housemate looked in and called it…
  • Just a thought, but maybe this should be a poll? (Still so new as to be nervous about doing it himself.)
  • 2 HCs but ultra-glide fins. I tried out the Plasteel tanks and felt that I preferred the capacity to the increased speed. As for why only 2, I don't like a lot of back-and-forth when resource gathering.
  • I actually had it happen yet again, this time to the west. Ran out to it in a solar-powered seamoth and found it. I couldn't exit the seamoth and the listed biome was safe shallows. I don't know enough about coding to guess at the problem.
  • I gave Dex an awesome because they put into words what my atrocious MS-paint skills were failing to draw. Yeah, an inverted curve was what I was failing to describe.
  • I'm playing stable and I've just had this problem too. Heck, it's drifted so far south that while trying to retrieve it, I shot right past the floating island.

  • (Quote) No to mention being a little tight to maneuver around if one the aquarium has been installed.

  • Okay, let's amend my suggestion because I now no longer see a use for the observation dome. I can get almost the same view from slapping an end-cap window on a glass corridor. Sure, that's 4 glass in total but I don't have to play "catch-the-scrap" …
  • Awesome idea, especially as I tend to look at the ceilings on the multi-purpose room and feel a little claustrophobic. Heck, add an L-shaped section where the inside of the curve would be on the exterior and you dramatically increase the possibiliti…

Did it get implemented several updates ago and I just not try it? Am I an idiot? If yes, ah well. :p
  • Given the upcoming changes, a control room that lets you power down and seal sections between bulkheads in the interests of controlling power drain would be great.
  • Some sort of range-finding ability with regards to beacons (including seamoth, cyclops and survival pod) would be nice.
  • Yes. So much yes on this suggestion. Not to mention a little cleanup on the top of a ladder. I cannot count the amount of times I've snagged on the top of a ladder while trying to walk past, or against a ladder in a room with a large aquarium.
  • I'd love to have a snap-lock toggle of some sort, especially for solar panels. But with these new planter boxes, it'd be nice to be able to lay out nice, neat rows, or align the chair with the table (especially if we ever get the ability to SIT in i…

That's the transmission line I'm referring to. But I often can't see it with some of the angles that I end up having to swim. If the red/green template was just a little further away, it wouldn't be such a problem.

Seriously, Rockwell? That song and the video combined made for some serious nightmare fuel when it first came out.
  • You can change the label on beacons by targeting a very specific spot and hoping that you don't bob the wrong way when you click. Other than that though, yeah. Trying to place a thermal generator without a foundation is an exercise in frustration an…
  • Well, unless there's a filter option, I can see that getting annoying real fast.

Sweet. Thanks for that Nitay. Maybe I'm getting old (The first computer that I remember using was a C64 w/ tape drive back in '88) but I'm not a fan of the style of site that trello is, so I have trouble navigating and tracking tho…

    Thank you, kindly.

When you first cook a fish, there's a message reassuring you that humans survived via this method in the past, implying that everyone has gone *shudder* vegan. To be fair though, this makes the exclusion of a hunting weapon …
  • Can I just chime in with this? While I think that a version with 2 player co-op could be fun (and the survival pods seem to be built for 2 people), I hate the idea that multiplayer is the way to go and should be the developers main priority. (Quote…
  • You are not alone in that desire. I've also wished for the ability to open my PDA when sitting on the bench. You know, a little light reading while watching over the creepvine crop, listening to the hum of the water filter, waiting for the sun to ri…
  • Oh, yes please. I really dig this games soundtrack.
  • With over 100 hours logged now, I'm happy to say that for once I don't feel like early access was a bad choice. Just to add to the Subnautica Appreciation Chorus, I love this game so far. I'm particularly happy with the fact that the early game is a…
