I tried to make servers both with hlds+Ns 3.0 Dedicated and in Steam with the normal 3.0.But either i open a server with hdls or Steam i can't connect to it via Internet. I mean i can't see it on the list or when i enter my external ip. I'm behind a firewall but my PC is in the DMZ.
Thanks for any answers.

Im having a similar problem. However, I am able to load the server through the Steam "Dedicated Server" option. The problem is, when I search for the server on another computer, through Natural Selection, the server doesnt show up - internet or lan. It used to, in prior versions. Furthermore, it does show up in the server window (lan) if I dont have any games launched, but when I click on it, it opens half-life and says I have the wrong client.dll - duh!

We ran into the same problem with Linksys routers when running servers in the pre-steam environment. DMZ'ing the server did not help. There was a specific way to work around the issue...

    1) Make sure you have the latest firmware for your router.
    2) Set the IP for your server box to 192.168.1.2 (you will need to change these properties through your TCP/IP settings - if you run a Windows OS)
    3) and assure that you open the appropriate ports on that IP - through the router.

    Perhaps that will help you.
Im having problems myself, but mine appear to be client-side, as when I try to join NS, it launchs Half0life. grrr!
