Simple Question

...plz help.
I'm running a linux server and i'm with problems on balancing teams.
Server is for 18 players, 2 reserved.
Sometimes we play 9x7, 6x8 but me and my friends don't want this.
Someone can explain how to config teams correctly to have games like 8x9, with the max difference of one player only.

I tried to add in server.cfg (it's dedicated server) mp_autobalance 1 but it doesn't make anything.

So, how can I balance teams correctly?

Tnx for all.

oh sorry man... a friend of mine creates the server and we configure it together when needed.

    The problem:
For ex: we're playing with 6x7 players in server, than a guy enter and join the team with 7 players, becaming a games with 6x8 players. I don't want this anymore.

How can i configure this correctly?

    Thanks again...

joev, that causes problems. If you limit teams to 1 and someone leaves a team mid game then new people in the ready room can't join either team.

There are a couple metamod and amx plugins from http://www.modns.org that keep teams even in different ways. May wanna check those out if you're open to running metamod and/or amx.

There is also a plugin on modns.org that fixes this problem. I'm suprised more servers aren't running it as I see it as a must and one of the best plugins on our server.
