Sometime in the next 50 years we will cure Cancer and AIDs.

After we find the cure, a few more deadly easily to transmit diseases will emerge.

In the next 10 years New Yok will be attacked again by terrorists as well as California.

In about 8 years US will invader Seria, if Isreal does not first.

in 60 years Pakistan and India will nuke each other off the map. The radiation will weaken the immune systems of citizens in nieghboring countries, allowing for the fore mentioned diseases to infect humans.

In 10 years Castro will have a stroke with out naming a successor, resulting in a civil war.

In 100 years Japan will send Giant Flying Mecha into North Korea and level it. Fox will have exclusive rights to the live television feed from these Mecha.

Japans action will distract the world enough that China takes Tiawan back by force. Tensions will raise, but then lower as now good from Tiawan will be cheaper and no one will have to look at Kim Ju Ill Jr.'s face anymore

So In a Hundred Years we have lost Pakistan, India, North Korea, and half of Tiawan. Syria and Cuba will be under a democratic government. While Aids and cancer are no longer a problem, two new more deadly diseases have emerged.

110 years, ice caps have melted a but due to India and Pakistan. Coastal cities are flooded. Unsuspecting home owners come into beach front property and rejoice.

In 150 years, a human will be successfully cloned in a third world lab. Genetically altered babies will be all the rave. This will eliminate those new diseases.

170 years. An error in the genetic process causes genetically altered babies to die premeturely at the age of 20. Genetically altering babies is outlawed.

OK I grow tired. Some time after 200 years.

Germany will invade france in an unprecidented 3rd time. China, still bearing a grudge from WW2, will strike at Japan. Japan, will use their superior technology to crush china and then go back to their date simulating andriods.
Air quality will be so vastly deterated from the wars that air filters will be a must. the UK will fail in the liberation of France, but were the UK fails Iraq will suceed(as the radiation over the years ahs made them into super freaks). The whole worlds will become enviormentally friendly, and then destroy themselves in a stupid war.

I personally believe that humanity is not doomed, because we have a survival instinct. This instinct tells us to change our ways when we must. So if we know that we can be far less polluting, and we know there is alternative fuels, we will stop our stupid ways when we absolutely need to. Currently, we can get away with oil dependency and polluting, that is why we do it. People tolerate pollution and oil dependency because they have not seen proof that there lives are adversly affected by it.
