I'm still torn between loving and hating it to be honest. 14 hours into the game.

I don't like Disney, to start with, but i love Square (Yes, i'm a Square fanboy.). A lot of it makes me cringe, that's mainly the Disney-ness of it all, but the story with Sora, Riku and Kairi has me hooked. I guess i'll finish it, but the lovey-dovey Disney crap is making me sick.

I like Kingdom Hearts too. I'm on the very last boss basically. I haven't even tried beating it though. It's an awesome game though. I can't wait for the second one to come out. And Soul Calibur 2 is a great game too. Although I'm more of a fan of 2D fighters like Guilty Gear X2. The games I'm waiting the most for are Viewtiful Joe and Mario Kart: Double Dash!!

If you've never heard of Viewtiful Joe, check this out:

Rise of Nations for PC (Buy it! Buy it now!!!)
Civilization 2 & 3 for PC
Neverwinter Nights for PC
Halo for Xbox (not to much at the moment though, not many people to play with without my router)
Dynasty Warriors 4 for Xbox (it may be a PS2 port, but it's fine for me)
Balduers Gate: Dark Alliance for Xbox (15 dollars, how can you go wrong?)
Natural Selection, Day of Defeat and Counter-strike (in that order) for PC (except, Steam...or my college network...are only giving me 2-6 servers (if I get any) with 1000+ pings)
Aliens versus Predator 2 for PC
Soul Calibur for DC (pretty much beaten though, and it's at home, not college)

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City for PS2...before I sold it

I found a nifty mod for BF1942 by the name of Desert Combat. Awesomely awesometacular.

Hmm, I've also been playing a lot of Random Team 2v2's in WarCraft3X which is fun...

Err... in other news, I need to buy a new game.

Yeah, Kingdom Hearts is a great game. Problem is I can't fight the last boss, since my level is pretty low (pluss, I suck in those, 3rd person viewing games)

Warcraft III is up at the top with NS!!! I mean, I'm an RTS fan, and that's mainly what attracted me to NS. All Final Fantasy games also rules.
SQUARE RULES!!
I particularly liked FFVIII, but my friend never lets me play it since it's his game.

I also enjoyed Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers for Gamecube. It's also from the same friend who's got FFVIII. The thing is, I did ALL the levels for LOTR, and when I was almost finishing the game, my friends took the controll from me and finished it. He started chanting away how good he was for finishing the game.....

I was gonna add to the thread then I realised it was a cunning ploy to put your viewtiful joe give-me-points-when-people-click link in without getting the thread shutdown like your last one XD

My fave games range all the way from bubble bobble to Guilty Gear X so I like most games really... as long as they're not sports related I guess

At the moment I'm STILL slogging through War of Genesis 3 Part II, which is a Korean strategy RPG that made a huge splash in the anime community because of it's artwork. Mostly I'm slugging through it because I'm on a translation team that intends to release English patches for it, but it's a fun game anyway, just has some bugs that need to be worked through... -_-;;

I'm sort of playing through Halo PC, but I don't like how it feels so I'll probably give up and go back to the Xbox version. And I started playing The Specialists, which is fun. And on top of that, I play NS. That's about it, since classes resumed a few days ago.

I have a hatred for Disney, well, the classic Disney characters at least. I didn't mind the Agrabah level so much, and i like Traverse Town, but i'm about ready to shoot myself on the bloody Little Mermaid level. That, and the only people i feel like actually killing is Donald and Goofy, they get in the way constantly. Ontop of that, the camera is absolutely dire to control. Well, what little control you do get of it.

Another thing is, coming from playing more in-depth rpgs i miss all the stats. Kingdom Hearts seems to want to be an RPG by putting in the levelling system and very basic stats, but it comes off as being more of a mediocre Zelda game than an RPG or a Squaresoft game.

But as i said, the non-Disney parts of the story have me completely gripped, i guess you've just got to take the rough with the smooth.

But, one thing i am really looking forward to is the Nightmare Before Christmas level, i love Tim Burton's work and i absolutely adore NBC, so hopefully that should make me a bit happier about Disney's inclusion.

Traverse town's not Disney, I don't think...

The Little Mermaid level did somewhat suck, the Nightmare before Christman level's a treat, I like the alternate outfits the team gets.

They put the Leveling System to attract more Square-RPG dorks, like my friend who played through KH.

Oh, and fighting Sephiroth in real time with that awesome costume he has is awesome, yet totally hard.

I was just hooked on Planescape: Torment for 80 or so hours. It stole me completely away from NS til I finished it... damn, what a masterpiece. I usually hate those D&D engine games too...

glad to see we have another person who likes FF8 onboard =P

classics: chrono trigger + all square games (esp. ff3(us), ff2(us), and FFT), Ultima series, Sierra games (space quest, quest for glory, king's quest)...

How could you all forget Super Smash Bros. Melee!? Albeit it is a relatively old title, it can still hold its own when compared to many other games.

More recently I have been addicted to NS and Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne, and I shall be purchasing Halo for the PC soon.

Of all the games I have played lately all I have been liking is the basic HL mods: DoD, CS, and NS. Aside from that I have been playing Planescape: Torment again and it is still the greatest RPG ever created. I'm not sure if that is good news or bad. It is like 5 years old.

Harvest Moon is always good.

Blade Runner, for PC.

Sim Ant, Empire of the Ants.

Probably UFO: Enemy Unknown and X-Com: Terror from the Deep (undecided over Apocalypse)

AvP on the Jaguar or the beatemup coin op version.

Master of Orion 2.

Pretty much any Civ game.

Sim City.

i like all kinds of games other than NS. the only other PC game i play is gunbound.

i'm mostly into fighting games. more in particular the 3d based ones like sc2, tekken tag/4, smash bros melee. i really suck at street fighter, i dunno why but i always have. ggxx is an exception; that's the one 2d i can stand playing more than cvs2 or mvc2.

i'm in love with horror/rpg games. the RE and SH series are my favs. w00t! it's a lot of fun knifing zombies.

i also play rpgs, but i get bored of playing after awhile. i like to collect and find every secret of the game. by then.. i don't even feel like touching the game. that's happened with ff7 and ff9. :x
