I watched one episode of it... and hated it, maybe I should give it another chance.

I wasn't too impressed either. Seemed like a Simpsons rip off but it's nice to see you excited Jammer.

I really hope that someone picks that show back up.
I HATED FOX when they cancelled Family Guy.
Its one of the funniest shows on TV!
I have seen every ep and own the DVD set, I'll be getting season 2 very soon!

I only saw one episode, but I loved it. Stewie was having relationship problems with some girl, can't remember her name. She only loved him for his cookies, but he was head over heels for her. Unless all the episodes are mostly about Stewie, don't really know if I'd like them as much.

Futurama all the way!

The Family Guy is an excellent show.

Truly amazing. Get the DVDs and watch with commentary on. Brilliant.

It's funny. Really funny. Mostly with random pointless humour. Overall, it's not really that good ( don't try to tell me it's smart comedy).

Sorry but family guy is extremely smart comedy. Probably the cleverest, most inventive and funniest cartoon I've ever seen, cant wait for a movie

<3 Family Guy

What I love most about the show is all the crazy out of place pop culture references...

"Well right about now the Griffin boys better grow some wings, or start flappin their arms."

I suppose you like the evil monkey that lives in Chris's closet?

Oh, and probably the biggest reason Family Guy isn't that popular is because
1.) Simpsons came first, and a lot of people seem to like it and probably don't want to switch or whatever
2.) The jokes are mature ones, and kids don't get it

Yeah, but I love Family Guy.

I think the funniest aspect of it is those 'memories' they have. "Geez, you act like this is the first thing stupid I've done--remember that time <blah blah blah>?"

There's at least 3 in every episode, I'm just guessing off the top of my head.

"Oh, funny sailing story: This guy's on his boat in the middle of the ocean, right, and he sees a little black dog. Lemme tell ya, this dog's been swimming for days, and he stinks like a dead otter, righ--"
"Peter, maybe this isn't the place to--"
"Hang on, Lois, hang on. So the guy takes the dog into the vet, and the freakin' vet tells him, get this--it's not a dog, it's a rat! A big, stinkin' rat! True story."
"Dad, that's just an urban legend..."
"Hand to God, I'm tellin' ya, it was a huge freakin' rat! 5 times as big as that guy's steak."

Family guy...man, too bad they cancelled. The beauty...

Best Episode Ever: The Apocolypse.

"We gotta travel to [some town name here] to get to the Twinkie factory. Its the only food left on this God-Forsaken planet."

"Why would it be left?"

"Because cockroaches and twinkies are the only things in exhistence capable of surviving a nuclear blast"

*huge cockroach runs by their car as they drive*

*they get there*

"Oh my god, the factory. Oh, heaven lord..."

"Dad, its just a twinkie factory..."

"JUST a twinkie factory? While I'll show you you little..."

"Don't touch your daughter!"

*they build a town, a ton of people move in, no guns. Then they find a gun store, arm everyone, and they begin killing eachother, instead of the pacifism they had without them*

So...very...funny...when...you...watch...!!!

The town was called Natick. When they discovered the Twinkie factory, it was renamed to New Quahog.

Quagmire is the coolest, next to Brian or Stewie.
