Is There Randomness Added To Things We Don't Know?

it seems the pistol, grenade launcher, gorge spit, acid rocket, and lerk spikes have no randomness thankfully but what about other things like bite, swipe, gore, etc is there randomness to determine whether they get counted as hits or not? does redemption have any randomness to determine whether it works or not?

I don't think there is any randomness with the bite, swipe, gore. They are melee attacks and usually you can't get all hits perfect when you are jumping about trying to avoid being shot.
