<div class="IPBDescription">just a lil question...</div> DOesn't anyone use alien comms?

I use it a lot, but the only problem is that peeps wont understand what im saying! <!--emo&--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/mad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='mad.gif'><!--endemo-->

Why dont peeps use it? it's faster to say thoses important stuff...

YEs, i know it's hard to understand , but keep playing with the alien comms and you'll under stand what each one sounds like. I already memerized the stuff... so you can try!

I also do this cause it makes it a lil realistic, plus i use it because, peeps should use it, or why would they put alien comms in there? i use chuckle for taunting, need healing to ask gorges for healing, incoming when marines coming, and stuff...

Because its infinitely faster to just hit your voicecomm key and say what the problem is.

It's easy to understand alien comms anyway, just look at the white circle of your teammates that are using it.

Ex: NSPlayer "Needs Healing" will pop up next to the name when he/she/it uses the "Need Healing" command.

always nice to look around after a marine chomping session in another part of the map to see a bunch of circles saying 'Player chuckles'

I doubt it would say "Player Chuckles" or I've never seen it yet.

Need healing, chuckle, and I'm buidling here are ones that I use. The others like need backup and such...well it's unlikely anyone will be nearby to hear it. I'm sure it'll be boosted in a later patch.

Because while you're spinning around in circles trying to figure out who requested backup and where, a marine shoots you in the butt. Simple enough.

Ill drink to that. Aliens need some serious renavations. The only time aliens win is when the marine team is incompitant. I hate the idea of a game thats already decided.

Jumping up and down while barking infront of a gorge usually says 'I need healing'.

I've actually gotten allies to use the need healing sound now. Those little puppies can be trained so well >=]

The only ones that do anything for the alien team is:
    1. Need healing
    2. Attack
    3. Chuckle

The dev's should put in new hivesight sprites that tell if you need healing, incoming, if you're attacking, etc. Wouldn't it be great to just yell incoming and you see a (blue, black, orange, etc.) hive sprite and know instantly where someone needs help, instead of trying to fish through the guy singing, the little 6 year old, the guy thats cussing, and then someone that REALLY needs help. And text is just too slow, I don't care if you can type 180 words per minute, you still have to stop.

The alien yells should be more than cool sounds.

Not really a generalization. If you play against EXPERIENCED players, and take the best players with the best teamwork and the best clans or whatever, and make them play, marines win.
They usually kill aliens before they can get a second hive up. Of course, this is experience Clan play where you see it the most, but if you ever get to a large player server (like >16 people), you'll find that marine teams that rush together will keep aliens pinned nicely.
The reality of the game is, the amount of newbies playing factors in who wins. Aliens will usually only win because of this. Either the aliens are a lot more experienced, or the marines got a newbie commander/troops that slowed down any rushes.

NS isn't balanced for large servers. In clan games, marines usually win. Even with experienced players on pubs, this is not the case on the player numbers that NS is balanced for.

Alien teams win when they've got uber-Lerks at high lev, otherwise gg marines.

    /me passes Nicator the popcorn.
