no sound , now

in Natural Selection Help
my speakers are working, but in game I have no sound, rebooted game, pc still no sound in game. checked game settings , all look good. don't understand why

    The sound might be unsupported on the said game if it doesn't properly work.

    Might need to play around in Control Panel? I think in newer versions of Windows there are per-program sound settings which in at least one case I have found left a game without sound.

    Thank you so much! I just had the sound turned off in Control Panel, and everywhere there was sound. It's strange that I couldn't figure it out for so long))
