G-Sync activation?

Hello everybody,
I need help with G-Sync activation.
I have always had tremendous tearing while playing Subnautica and as my monitor died I bought a G-Sync monitor, hoping to forget that.
But it seems I can't activate G-Sync in this game.
I got a GTX 1060 on an Asus PG248Q monitor, Windows 7-64, DirectX 11 and the latest Nvidia drivers 398.36
G-Sync is ON on several other titles (Skyrim, Thief, Battlefront II...) but it seems it's not activated when I launch Subnautica because tearing is still here and the Nvidia G-Sync indicator doesn't show up. The Light in Motion feature of my monitor can't help either as it is always red even when G-Sync is on, from what I have seen on the Internet it's cause of the latest Nvidia drivers.
I have already tried to disable V-sync in the options.
Could someone help me?

In order to help others with the same problem , I followed this advice :
In your Steam library right-click Subnautica, select Properties, on the first tab open the Set Launch Options, type or copy paste without the quotes: "-window-mode exclusive", save and launch. Now you will have true fullscreen.
Developers should have done something to activate G-Sync more easily.
I can now play smoothly, it's a shame I finished the game weeks ago, but I can improve my new gigantic base
SN fullscreen technicly runs in windowed mode.
