Alien Base Glitch (possible spoilers for new players)

I found this glitch at the Alien base where I was able to go inside the base but I cannot go up the surface floor of the alien base.

    Intentionally( seems to be, anyway) glitching though a wall tends to do that. There are 2 normal ways in, do they have any problems? One is from land, needs purple key to even get in, other is underwater but a very obvious opening( still need purple key for progression).

    Not quite the same issue, but:

    1. Explored the bottom of the building while waiting for a countdown
    2. Explored the top of the building after the timer was up
    3. Found the elevator, went down
    4. Tried to jump into the lower pool

    Expected result:
    Swimming!

    Observed result:
    Fall damage. After taking some screenshots, I jumped to my death on the rocks outside the hangar.

    (I'll submit this in-game if I can get it to happen again.)
