1st: I would really like for an abyss link to be added to the game(this would include a new sub to explore said biome). Subnautica really needs deeper darker areas to explore. Areas that will constantly make you tense and nervous about what you might accidentally run into while exploring...something to make you genuinely afraid. 2nd: customizable base lighting. I feel that we should be able to change the color of the lighting inside our bases for ambiance and theming of said bases. (Such as a deep magenta for a Jellyshroom biome themed base and what not.) What does everyone else think?

Well, I think any depth greater than 1000m should be pitch black, with the only light at all being from plant/animal bioluminescence or your ship's spotlights

In a practical sense anything below ~200m should be near pitch black for those waters.
However I believe such realism would be detrimental to the game experience, and could be easily avoided in game by presenting stronger flashlights and vehicle headlights.
Easy solution: Lower the gamma and brightness from the game and/or display.

It's not certain that 4546B's ocean is made of 100% water. Both pressure and visibility are profoundly effected by the chemical make up of a liquid. To achieve a sense of realism I like to imagine myself swimming it giant martini glass. Though this will clearly necessitate the later development of a giant olive in the game.

I always wanted an area in the game around 800 - 1300m down that was entirely pitch black with only your subs lights for sight and was home to a single gargantuan sized monster that by the time you saw it it was already in front of you.

Maybe something this size?

Maybe a base teleporter? You have to research all Alien teleporters and you can create a mini-teleporter after scanning all? This makes it easier to jump between bases.

I really much like the idea of being able to toy around with your base's lights, perhaps aswell turn them off/on to save power would also be cool .
I'd love to be able to turn my jelly ray/ oculus/jellyshroom massive tank room light's off to be able to witness the glorious bioluminescence
