Did the method of getting crashfish powder change? In Infected, I'm ALWAYS getting a crashfish egg instead. And there doesn't appear to be any way of making crashfish eggs into crashfish powder.
Hey, do I have to start a new game to get all the content, clear the cache or can I just happily go on with my old save without having to do anything?
Your existing save should be fine. I fired up my existing save, since my base is situated at the upper entrance to the tree cove, and I was able to immediately see the difference in the scanning room, explore the lab, and see different terrain features that weren't previously there. And get infected. I got to do that too.

Eh. You don't have to start a new game when you clear your cache, that would defeat the purpose of clearing your cache... or maybe I misunderstood what you were saying. Regardless, if you seem to be getting the new update contents with no issues, you should be fine, as @Sidchicken said.

Yes, PC. XBox just got the previous 2 updates last week.
The Xbox isn't going to get updated in quite some time
It's already there on both systems. You're: A - not updating the save correctly or: B not looking hard enough.
