It will finally get rid of new players assuming the medkit fabricator is broken and / or a one-use cabinet (it does say fabricator, but they are quickly familiarizing themselves with their lifepod at that point).
It's two round lights, and they blink when done, but then if you open it, but don't pick it up, it will stay unlit forever as there's already a kit in there. I mean more of something to let you know how far along the next kit is, or if no kit is being made as there's another one present already.
The lights & sound aren't as clear to someone who isn't curious. 3 lights, with the first two progress and the third a green "complete" light would help.

If you look outside your lifepod (or on the other side of your medkit fabricator wherever it's built) you'll find all of your lost medkits. A bit of careful climbing and you can usually get to them.
This is especially irritating in a Cyclops as it can cause collision issues and tip your Cyclops around.
