Game crashing randomly

I was playing subnautica, a glorious game if I might add, but everytime I start a new save and play for a few hours, then the game just starts crashing all the time, even if I restart my computer or game, this continues happening... Help?

It fixed the crashing, but now the game freezes and stops responding instead of just closing. still unplayable

1) Run a chkdsk on the drive that has Subnautica on it
2) Verify game local files through Steam
3) Delete cache again
4) If you have an SSD, make sure Subnautica is running from that.
