Ns_oddesy
Alright, I hammered this out in about an hour and a half. It's been revised to a point where its ready for feedback. Basically, this is a "tube" in the exterior that will connect two areas inside the rock. Don't pay attention to what's outside the tube, because it's not detailed yet.

Is there glass there? Otherwise, I'm envious. I want l33t m4pp|ng sk|11z like yours.

Yeah, that would be glass there. When I map that into the level, it'll probably be a bit more apparent (particle systems outside, howling wind, and stuff). And that's hardly |33t; the more I look at it, the less satisfied I am about it.

i think it looks nice for what it's suppose to be...a glass tunnel. That is if my opinon means anything . hehehe.

looks promissing to me, like you said add some detail, adjust teh lightning a bit and it'll be alright

Yeah, the lighting is my biggest problem here, but I don't have to worry about that just yet. And, yeah, I think your opinion means something badmofo, so thanks!

Looks good though I have an issue with the thicker pieces of metal at the base of each arch. Why is that there? You could add some lights at floor level to the bottom sides.

For the rest; nice textures, looking forward to check it out in action!

Run some pipes along the floor that go through those thicker base pieces on each arch. It'll add some detail, and make it a bit more interesting. Maybe you could even have some branch off into the outside area to a vent or something.

I would definately add some outdoor particle systems for weather and whatnot.

Its very promising.

Interesting shot, and quite a departure from your other work. I'd like to see it with the glass in there and with the rock box detailed Cool.

the more io watch it the more i like it..........
Yeah you could put those pipes in that hallway, an outside particle system would just rock!
It would create so much atmosphere with the right sounds and lightning.

I'd like to see a bit more structure, personally... As in, something holding the glass in place, i.e. support beams or something along the ceiling/wall... Perhaps the protrusions at the bottom of each support could have horizontal beams connecting each other? Just a thought. Would make the whole thing seem a bit more stable, IMHO.

Oh yeah now you mentioned it, yeah that would be great some sort of structure that supports the glass. It looks indeed a bit out of place if it's just put above the walls.
But hey it's just a screen the map isn't finished or nething.

Of course, and with our help think how nice it will look when finished. Never too early/late for suggestions. Well, it's too late if it's a final release, but even then there can be updates made, heh...
