Subnautica Crashes while loading homescreen

I love this game. And literally for the past few days I've been doing homework, and trying to play this game. I couldn't start it. I was so desperate to play this great game I reseted my entire pc. Thinking that it had to do with my pc. I re downloaded steam and the Subnautica. I got to play. But I was about to play last night horrified to realise that the bug was back. What happens is that I start the game. The tab opens at the bottom of my screen but doesn't open it. It starts playing the music and i click on the tab. It's all black. After awhile of loading, (maybe 20 minutes) you can kind of see the homescreen, but just no ocean background. Then it looks all normal, all the buttons are there, but no ocean background. If you go to click on these buttons, the game with crash.
Here's what I found about the logs:

Your specs all look great, except for that mobile GPU. From a quick google search, I don't think it meets the minimum system requirements for this game. In what you posted it says multiple times 'Shader Unsupported', which to me is a clear indication your mobile GPU isn't capable of producing the graphics required for this game. Many people are in the same boat as this game does require beefier GPUs to work correctly. It is a shame because the rest of your laptop is very nice and easily meets the requirements.

I am sure a Dev could pop their head in and say for sure, but I would bet it is that.

Here is the Intel HD 4600 (Minimum Requirements)

    And here is yours.

Thanks for this!! If I switch the graphics to minimum it might work then? Or will it stay the same requirement? I guess I'll try to figure it out

Well, even lowered my screen res to 800 by 600 and minimum graphics, no dice. I'm guessing the only way to fix this is get a new pc? This thing is ancient anyway. Was planning to get another for my birthday or christmas. Thanks for helping! Atleast I know the answer

I meet the bare minimums on all of my specs but I too am having this issue. Once I let it sit and load to the main screen fully for about an hour after an update then kill the program with task manager, it will load quickly and how it should. Although once it is loaded and I start a new game (or load an old one) once I scan the second seamoth part or the 4th base part it will CTD. I have also noticed that the Aurora is exploding way too fast (less than 5 minutes) and kills us now (even when under water).

The good news is that I know a bit about programming so I was able to find out that most of the issues we are having at the moment are caused by the game trying to start up an oculus device that doesn't exsist. I would recommend to the devs that the game code be altered so it will check for the device and if not found then it will lock out that entire part of the program which will also reduce the amount of information your computer has to run and improve overall performance.
