More difficulty please.

Hi you guys.

1st off, loving the game so far.
But!!!

I would like much more difficulty please. :)
Playing on hard core is fun. But would it be possible to increase damage taken from predators? (say 40 or 50 damage instead of 30 from most creatures)
Could we have more complex recipes for crafting items too?
Also not just more complex, but just simply more? ie: crafting glass takes 4 or 5 quarts instead of only 3.
Finding crash material that normally gives 3 titanium, have it give only 2 titanium.
Crafting all items just requires more stuff. That would be awesome!

Currently the game is a little too easy on Hard core.

Maybe custom game sliders. Say...

hard core.
resource requirements for crafting 100-200% slider.
damage taken 100-200% slider.

This would make the game so much better in my opinion.

Thanks :)

The idea with custom difficulty sliders is awesome!
But please dont make glass take more quartz since it is a limited resource and i like windows very much.
Or (and that would be super cool) make a substitue for glass like suggested before (e.g. oven to smelt sand into glass).

And rechargeable power cells (that are balanced by capacity and crafting cost for example) so you dont run out of power in late game

The game's early development, so things you're speaking of have been fluctuating regularly anyway. Scrap metal used to only give 2 titanium, but was bumped up to 3 because it's a really heavily relied-upon resource. More complex crafting recipes were a thing, but there were so many resources in the game everything got simplified to a handful of raw materials and currently more are being added on where needed. Seaglide in current stable needs Titanium, Battery, Copper Wire and in current experimental it needs Lubricant, for example.

Glass is the main 'quartz sink' in the game, and outfitting your base with windows requires loads of quartz currently. Quartz is intended to be one of the finite resources you have to carefully use, and windows might end up using another resource entirely as the all-glass corridor and observatory seabase modules come out.

Game being too easy on hardcore will be fixed as development continues. The Reaper is tame looking compared to the monsters we'll have to face in the future, and the gameplay content we currently have can be considered early-game or mid-game at best. We didn't crash land at a tropical resort so don't let the current Subnautica world fool you. If you keep an eye on Trello and dig around the wiki, you'll find out that the world will be pretty dangerous in the future.

You mean making the game harder only in Hardcore mode right?

Because Survival mode is already difficult enough in my opinion, also knowing that it's going to get worse in the future.

yes I mean making the difficulty harder for HARD CORE. mode.
or at least allowing the playing to customize the difficulty to what they want.

Like someone might want to play in Survival so that could respawn after death, but might still want
    more difficult crafting and monsters.

    Let the players decide.

Mmmmh costumized difficulty like in Five nights at Freddy's more or less :) sounds a great idea actually.

what she\he said the games in early development so there's still genna be more updates there's a chance that they will add a custom difficulty mode to were it can be super hard or super easy and there will be more difficult monsters and biomes with harder creatures then the ones in safe shallows.
