i7, integrated graphics (intel hd 4600) and cannot ever get past this even after checking steam consistency, reinstalling, deleting workshop folder:

cannot get into a server. any help?

Unsub from all workshop mods. Set all active mods in NS2->Mods as inactive. Close NS2. Make sure steam cloud for NS2 is off. Find this file: \STEAM\userdata\<yourid>\4920\remote\options.xml and make sure the entry for mods looks like this:
