Just saw: Reaper Skin Pack is not tagged with a DLC ribbon on that steam store page.

The Deluxe upgrade links to www.naturalselection2.com , not sure if that was intentional or there was a separate store id for it.

Except for Combat being included in the bundle, this doesn't really come at a surprise anymore. I'm personally waiting for some $1 deal (*cough*humblebundle*cough*) so I can start passing out a few dozen copies to strangers.

I'll still spread the word of the sale of course, I just won't be buying spares myself (I've already given it to my friends anyway, not that they play).

So if I already have NS2 and I get the Mega Pack (mostly for Combat), it doesn't re-download/overwrite NS2 right?

it would be nice if you already own ns2 and still get this mega pack you can give the ns2 copy to a friend, but keep the rest.

Ehm....ns2:combat -> 69,99€ NOT, now only 6,99€?!? wtf went wrong there? Do you say to customers that they save ~60€ there? For a game that is sold for 15€???

It's a great deal, too bad that Combat is being made to look like a dunce again because its 50% off is still more than the bundle it's also being sold in. Once again, very puzzling move.
    Also:

All in all though, bizzaro mistakes aside, its great value and an awesome sale.

I would have bought the skin packs anyway - now I got NS2combat on top - neat! :D

It's just a fail in the bundle price that NS2:Combat is listed with 69.99. If u buy everything to normal conditions it woud cost toaly 69.99€. But jeah... 6.99€ for Mega Pack but 7.99€ for Combat x)

70€ suggest to me that the game has more content than a game for 15€. I would correct it asap ;)

Steam is checking to see if you're paying attention.

You can buy the mega pack as a gift, and place it in your inventory. If you want to keep some of the dlc for you, or combat, just activate it/them in your profile. After that you can gift the rest.

Remember the new rules form purchased games in the steam store, you can only use them in "trading" after 30 days of purchased.

I also hadn't heard of that, but it's not really a surprise either. Steam is getting more cancerous by the day.

It isn't really a big deal to be honest. Just means you can't use it in a trade, which not a lot of people do anyways that want to gift games to their friends. No restrictions on gifting the code to someone.

Once again bad timing of sale vs build. Three times in a row.
  • ATFATF Join Date: 2014-05-09 Member: 195944Members
Yea I'm expecting too much really.
Didn't think about the workload we're creating, only about the workload we're taking away. X_X

We would have loved to get 272 out by now, but a lot of optimization work that has been done needs proper testing and QA as it makes deep changes to the code.

But the current 272 beta build is running fine on Wooza, im confused.
  • dePARAdePARA Join Date: 2011-04-29 Member: 96321Members, Squad Five Blue
Only a few tweaks running there?
But the Wooza-CDT collaboration is telling the people they run the beta build.

    Wow, thats sad.
